YSL's 2008 'Manifesto'

YSL designer Stefano Pilati wants the YSL message to reach a wider audience.

Last year he created the Manifesto, which was a 20-page booklet featuring Gisele Bundchen's 2007 advertising campaign, which was handed out during Fashion Week in New York, London, Milan and Paris last season.

This year the Manifesto will now be gracing London's streets, in the shape of a 24-page booklet for Spring 2008 that depicts Stefano Pilati's ideal of "the YSL woman", a campaign shot by Ines van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, featuring Kate Moss.

Printed on recycled paper, the Manifesto will be distributed on the follow days and cities:

February 23 - London & Milan
February 24 - Toyko
February 27 - New York & Paris
April 19 - Hong Kong

No word on exactly where though.

Stefano will exhibit a traveling exhibition of life-size images from the Manifesto. These will be available to the public on the 23 and 24 February at the Dray Walk Gallery, part of the Old Truman Brewery, in Shoreditch, London.

You can watch behind the scenes video of the manifesto being put together here.
