# Wanna Read a Love Letter  for Women over 40?

No matter what age you’re in, you will definitely appreciate this post from [MadeMeLaugh.com](https://mademelaugh.com/funny-words/in-praise-of-women-over-40/). It’s supposedly written by **Andy Rooney**, and the title is “**In Praise of Women Over 40**”:

If a **woman over 40** doesn’t want to watch the **game**, she doesn’t sit around whining about it. She does something she **wants **to do, and it’s usually more **interesting**.

The author ended with this:

For all those **men **who say, ‘Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?’, here’s an update for you. Nowadays 80% of **women **are against **marriage**. Why? Because **women **realize it’s not worth buying an entire **pig **just to get a little sausage!

It’s both funny and true -I think that as **women age**, their **self-confidence** gets a **boost**. Also, the way that they deal with **men **-of any age -is definitely more **‘mature’ **in a sense.

When I reach the **age of 40**, I surely would like to be a **well-coiffed**, **hot woman** -who should not be ‘traded with’ a 22-year old bimbo! (My apologies to all the intelligent 22-year olds out there!)

So to all the **guys out there who are **contemplating **to develop a **romantic relationship** with a **hot woman over 40** -**relax! We most definitely are not ‘cougars’ who are out to trap you in a marriage, we’ve had enough of that **romanticism **when we were (a lot) **younger**!
