I don’t normally write these type of [blogs](https://allwomenstalk.com/7-best-fashion-blogs/), but here I am. The 15 things I am thankful for today are not put in any specific order. When I am done, I would like for you to give me a small list, it doesn't necessarily have to be 15 things but I'd love to know what you are thankful for… ## 1. Also, without the computer, we'd probably not have [the internet](https://allwomenstalk.com/7-best-internet-time-wasters/) and the internet is a big. wonderful place filled with a lot of adventures within itself. Do I sound like Alice in Wonderland yet? :D ## 2. Sure, it may be a small home, but it is still is wonderful, I'm sure. You have to sit there and think just how many people on the street do not have [a home](https://diy.allwomenstalk.com/diy-decorating-tips-thatll-turn-your-house-into-a-home/). How many people are scrounging up for food or looking for a cardboard box to live in to get out of the rain? ## 3. I really like my job. I am a full-time [freelance writer](https://allwomenstalk.com/8-tips-for-a-freelance-writer/) – it pays my bills, puts food on the table, buys gifts and I have extra left over after that. ## 4. I am thankful for blogging. I like how Olga allows us to pick our own topics. I don’t just blog for Allwomenstalk.com, I have other blog clients, but I [also blog](https://allwomenstalk.com/5-tips-on-writing-a-weight-loss-blog/) for myself. ## 5. My Dog I love [my dog](https://allwomenstalk.com/8-ways-to-dress-up-your-dog-or-cat/), Copper. He is a Red Nose American Pit Bull Terrier. Last year in February, he escaped from his yard and got ran over. The vet wanted to put him down, because they said he was paralyzed, but no, we wanted to take him home, he was there still, when we touched him, he didn’t even try to bite. He’s a big dog who loves life. He had a will to live. Today, he is going strong and has regained all movement. That vet was wrong, wrong wrong. And it makes me wonder how many dogs they put down each day that could have survived. ALWAYS get a second opinion! ## 6. His name is Grendel. I mention him a lot on this blog. I have had him for 5 years now and at first he was little enough to fit on the palm of my hand and now he's grown and how! ## 7. It helps my 5 (almost 6 year old) get to and from school and really, can you imagine life without [a car](https://allwomenstalk.com/naias-2010-8-coolest-cars-of-the-auto-show/)? *shudder* ## 8. Happiness Where would we be in this world without happiness? Sure, I have times when I am depressed, but that does not last long. I always find something that [makes me happy](https://allwomenstalk.com/40-tips-for-a-happy-life/). ## 9. There are many out there who are not in a happy marriage. I have been married for almost 7 years now and am 25 years old. Things are still going strong. I have no need for any other guy and I know he feels the same. ## 10. Of course, I like thunderstorms and rain, but [the sun](https://allwomenstalk.com/7-perfect-first-date-venues-in-the-sun/) gives us [vitamins](https://allwomenstalk.com/7-easy-ways-to-take-your-vitamins/). It helps things grow. The sunshine may cause heat, but we couldn’t live without it. ## 11. Mom _ Photo Credit: Andrew Jalali_ Of course I am thankful for _my mom_. I love her. Some are living in this world without a mom. I couldn’t imagine that. Some never get the chance to feel the love from a mother or have a mother who cares. She has done a lot for me and continues to do so and for that, I am eternally grateful. ## 12. I love him! Again, some are living with no dads. I like to think back in time when he used to play ball with me outside. He and my mom taught me to never give up. That is where I get my strength. Oh yeah and I love analyzing things, just like him. ## 13. We work together. We have kids together and of course, we love and adore each other. I’m not exactly sure where I would be without him. I don’t think I even want to think about that! ## 14. He’s funny and is a bug magnet. He loves chasing bugs. He recently discovered [video games](https://allwomenstalk.com/8-must-have-video-games/). Uh oh! He has a lot ahead of him in life and has a lot of learning to do. This is a picture of my two together. ## 15. She loves [video games](https://allwomenstalk.com/10-video-games-for-girls/) too. She likes Hannah Montana, World of Warcraft and relaxing. She also loves cleaning and helping me! Am I lucky or what! There you have it. The 15 things people that I am thankful for. Surely, it does not have to be Thanksgiving to be thankful for something! Oh, I forgot, I am thankful for my life and for my bird, Spyro. How could I have left those 2 things out? So, what are you thankful for?
