StyleFoul: Vogue Editor Picked out Jennifer Hudson's Oscar Disaster

Filed under: On location, Celebrity Style, StyleFoul

Fortunately for all your Jennifer Hudson fans, the Best Supporting Actress is apparently not responsible for that awful dress she wore to the Oscars.

Oddly enough, the culprit is Andre Leon Talley, the editor of Vogue magazine.

A source told that "Jennifer was kind of sponsored by Talley and Vogue. Andre insisted that she wear that hideous Oscar De La Renta dress with the awful, awful gold python bolero."

The look has been widely criticized -- including some suggestions that La Renta and Talley were trying to cover up Hudson's fuller figure.

So it's official: everyone makes mistakes. And, sometimes, those mistakes are really, really bad, and in front of millions of people. Oops.
