Like Merida, we should all embrace our daring sides and seek new adventures- whether that be trying a new coffee shop or experimenting with a new type of makeup! Whatever you decide to do - make sure it makes you happy.

Now we can’t all have amazing ice powers, but we can still learn from Elsa’s confidence. No matter what size, shape or color you are, celebrate you! Elsa shows us that we shouldn’t hide who we are for fear of what other people will think. Embrace your insecurities and let the world know how fearless you are!

You don’t have to be an artist to be creative! Writing short stories, sewing a pretty dress, or even crafting on a Friday night allows you to tap into your creative side. We might not have as much time as Rapunzel has on her hands, but we can squeeze in some time in our busy schedules to create something wonderful.

If you have been checking out that boy in your history class or keep flirting with the barista at your local Starbucks, maybe it’s time to take it a step further! Ariel went out of her comfort zone for love, and although we don’t have to give up who we are for someone, we can learn from her bravery. Just make sure to remember that loving yourself is important too!

Let’s all make it a goal to go to bed earlier in 2018. No more staying up to the early hours of the morning and sleeping in till noon. Even Sleeping Beauty needs her beauty rest! I’m not asking you to go to sleep for hundreds of years, but cutting down your bedtime in increments day by day is never a bad idea! You’ll be waking up to the birds chirping in no time!

We can take some advice from Tiana and cook up a storm in our kitchen! As much as I love takeout (pizza anyone?) eating healthier is definitely on my list of New Year’s resolutions. You can get creative with the things you make - desserts, dishes, anything your heart desires! Maybe even some beignets in honor of Tiana!
