1. Be Attentive. Make Him Feel Special
Paying special attention isn’t just something that women like to enjoy from men. It works both ways! Whenever you are together, even if it is in a group setting, make sure to maintain eye contact and be inquisitive about what he is saying, ask questions and harbor a genuine interest in his discussions. And whatever you do, do not whip out your phone to check your emails or your social media halfway through a conversation!
2. Don’t Play so Hard to Get. It’s Tiresome
You might be executing a perfect plan in your own head, but a lot of men do not pick up on these small signals and you playing hard to get could actually just turn in to him thinking you are not interested and moving on! It’s fun to play a little game of cat and mouse, but play too well and he’ll think you are ignoring him rather than playfully spurring him on! We’re all adults here. Just tell him you like him and he will take more notice.
3. Let Your Guard down and Show Your Vulnerable Side
Though it can be very easy to put across an ice queen type exterior to guard yourself from getting emotionally hurt, one of the best things you can do to get a guy to notice you is show a little bit of your real, vulnerable side. Letting your guard down can be really endearing, and it will make him appreciate your company and appreciate the fact that you chose to reveal your inner self to him.
4. Try Something New and Leave Your Comfort Zone
If you want him to really take notice and see you for the potential girlfriend that you are, you need to break out of your own comfort zone and be willing to enter his: doing things that he likes to do like go to a ball game or seeing a movie that he has been talking about for weeks and weeks. He will notice that you are making an effort to embrace his interests.
5. Be Aware of the Power of Your Clothing Choices
Our clothing is something that can capture attention from across the room, so be aware of this if you are trying to make him notice you without actually going over and talking to him. The perfect outfit can really make a big impact.
6. Hold off on the Intimate. TMI is Never Good!
You might want to reveal all of your darkest secrets to him straight away, but trust me when I say that leaving a little mystery is the best way to keep him interesting and coming back for more. TMI can be a bit of a turn off right out of the gate; you need to build a relationship first and then start revealing bits of information about yourself.
7. Don’t Just Be One of Those Girl Who Communicates via Text
You should not underestimate just how important it is to have face-to-face communication with your crush. He’s not going to have as many images of you in his mind if you only ever talk to each other over text message. Be a physical presence around him and give him something to think about! There’s the challenge. Get the guy you want in seven days. And if not? Onto the next one. Life’s too short to waste it on a crush if you’re never going to convert it into a relationship.
