The Lean Green Bean

theleangreenbean.com This is one of the best fitness blogs out there, and it doesn’t just have a cute, catchy title, ladies. Lindsay, author of The Lean Green Bean, is not only crazy fit, but also just got her license to be a Registered Dietitian. Lindsay most recently took up Crossfit this last year and she knows her fitness and nutrition stuff from A-Z! The Lean Green Bean blog is amazing if you haven’t been lucky enough to stumble across it yet. Lindsay not only has great workouts and fitness tips, but also fabulous recipes and even her own Sunday Food Prep feature, which lets bloggers show their Sunday Food Prep recipes and tips, and she gives her own tips as well. Lindsay also has a Foodie Pen Pal program where readers can sign up for a pen pal each month to receive special foodie gifts. Her Crossfit experience has also given her an edge on providing amazing workouts and tips, so be sure to check her out!

Purely Twins

purelytwins.com Another one of my favorite fitness blogs is by The Purely Twins, Lori and Michelle. These ladies are seriously built and so petite at the same time so you don’t have to worry about bulking up like Superman. However, what you can get are some super, seriously sexy muscles through their new online workout program that just aired is June. They also have the most incredible, creative and delicious recipes I think I’ve ever seen in one place that are friendly to all allergen sensitive individuals and special diets. The twins are always exploring their health and paying strict attention to how their bodies react with certain foods. I love how in tune they are with their bodies, and still eat real food at the same time! I’m on board with that, along with getting their washboard abs! What about you?

The Fitnessista

fitnessista.com One of the newest fitness blogs I found is such a cute one! Gina, The Fitnessista, is a military wife and fitness instructor who seriously knows her way around the gym! She has tons of great workouts for the gym, and ones you can do right in your home. She also gives great fitness inspired recipes and tips for eating pre- and post-workout. I love her smoothie recipes the most, but of course, I haven’t found many of her recipes that don’t sound pretty amazing. I love that she is balanced and enjoys a wide variety of healthy foods and doesn't focus on being thin, but fit! Check out her blog for tips that will change the way you work out for life!

Fit Bottomed Girls

fitbottomedgirls.com Fit Bottomed Girls is another fabulous fitness blog I came across most recently and one I’m definitely going to keep on my radar from now on. Fit Bottomed Girls is somewhat like an online fitness magazine! They have so many features and the blog isn’t a solo day by day post like many out there. Instead, the front page is full of tons of topics ranging in a variety of health and fitness topics. I love their recipes, product reviews and workouts. I have started to go to this website first when seeking out new fitness product info on the market, along with all their fitness book reviews. This feature lets you sort of “try it before you buy it,” which I happen to appreciate as a budget savvy fitness enthusiast. Check out their blog and I’m sure you’ll find yourself clicking away at all the interesting topics just on your first visit.

FitSugar

fitsugar.com FitSugar is one of the most popular fitness blogs out there for women and I’m a huge fan of the entire PopSugar website. What I love about FitSugar is that it is full of great recipes, fitness tips, workouts and the latest trends in fitness. They also have a super simple, yet sophisticated feel to their blog and even celebrity features, which is always a bonus. If you’re looking for a fresh feel on fitness, this blog has it!

Eating Bird Food

eatingbirdfood.com One of my first favorite health blogs was Eating Bird Food, but later I learned how awesome this blog was for its fitness tips! Brittany Mullins, creator behind EBF, started the blog in 2008 after she developed a healthy lifestyle and lost tons of weight eating right and working out. Now she gives tips for specific areas of fitness you want to improve in, plus debates popular health topics and gives great fitness supportive recipes. I love her real, clean eating approach, along with her dedicated fitness routines. This is one blog you definitely want to subscribe to! Check her out today, and if you’re wondering, she eats more than bird food!
