Well, my beloved glide on gel pencil from Avon is empty, and I'm needing a new black eye pencil, right now. So with a few dollars in hand, I head to the local drugstore to see what I can find. It was a toss up between Prestige's Gel Liner, or for a few more dollars, <a href="">Revlon's Color Stay Waterproof Liner.
Revlon it was, and let me just tell you, I am jumping up and down over this remarkable find.
• Up to 16 hours wear
• With built in sharpener
• Ophthalmologist tested
• Fragrance free
• Suitable for Contact Lens wearers
This pencil just glides on effortlessly and without seeing what type of tip I was getting, since the package has the pencil closed, I wasn't sure. It's more of a pencil then a gel pencil, but it's soft enough to glide, yet sharp enough for definition. It glides on fantastic, and we're talking black black. Like liquid eyeliner black.
But the best part? This pencil stays on. I'm starting to do the eyeliner line on top look, ala Audrey Hepburn lately for a different look with bronzer and a rosy/beige glossy lip for a new pre-summer look. And this pencil delivers. You can smudge it or leave it a sharp line. And after only 1 hour sleep the night before, applying it at 5 am (yes, it was a sleepless night), at checking at 5 pm, my eyeliner, though slightly not as dark, (and I do mean slightly) it was still on exactly as I had put it.
