Queen Elizabeth's Wedding Dress

I like Queen Elizabeth’s wedding gown. It’s so timeless. She wore it in 1947 but I can still see this gown of hers being worn in the 21st century.

What do you think?

Royal fans will be in for a treat with an exhibition of Queen Elizabeth II’s wedding dress. Worn on her wedding day, at the age of 21, in 1947 to the of the permenant foot-in-mouth, Prince Phillip, the dress is on show to mark the 60th anniversary of the couple.

The dress, designed by Norman Hartnell, is silk and embroidered with crystals and 10,000 seed pearls including a 13 feet train. Included in the display will be clothes and jewelley from other family members as well as jewellery presented to the Queen by Phillip and wedding gifts including those from Mahatma Ghandi, Pope Pius XII and former US president Harry Truman.
