PRODUCT REVIEW Tarte 'the Eraser' ...

I got the chance to play with the new concealer from
Tarte Cosmetics, called "The Eraser".

Now let me just say that usually when I try concealers on myself, I find that they don't cover as much as I would like them to, they're either too sheer, fade away quick, crease, or are just too greasy.

Well, it's now Tarte "The Eraser" to the rescue. This portable pen wand offers 4 shades of a water based and silicone formula. Yes you heard right, silicone, that infamous ingredient that makes most foundation primers do their thing so well.

Infused with Vitamin E for dark circles, safflower oil to hydrate and chamomile and arnica extracts to sooth redness, and don't forget about the aloe leaf and cucumber extract that reduces puffiness, this concealer just offers all around good things.

While, I'll be the first to say I haven't tried it long enough (a few days) to see if it really does the depuffing, redness soothing and hydrating that they claim, I seriously don't care. Why? This stuff is amazing. It covers like nothing I've ever seen before and I'm not lying when I say this does not crease, at all. Also, there's no feel, it gives a 'staying put' slight drying action (which is the silicone working) so you'll know it's secure and it lasted for hours. And touch ups if needed were a breeze. Just swipe on, pat and done. One slight concern? The cap does come off pretty easy so make sure it's safe in your makeup cosmetic bag. Oh and also, the concealer color label is on the cap, so if you happen to get two shades, it's hard to know which cap goes on which one.

This is my new favorite personal concealer. Only $19.

This is a keeper.
