# Oh Snap, Fashion Kitty on Fancast

Today is like my day or something. A really fabulous site called [Fancast](http://power.networksolutions.com/index.html) gave me opportunity to blab on and on about 'Cashmere Mafia' fashions and how they compare to those of 'Sex and the City'.

Fashion Kitty, Fashion Editor over at [Thisnext.com](http://www.thisnext.com/), compares Cashmere Mafia and Sex and the City and helps you score that Mia Mason look.

Critics have dubbed ‘Cashmere Mafia’ as the new ‘Sex and the City’ but the two shows really are completely different. ‘Sex and the City’ deals with sex and how it relates to the four character’s lives, whereas ‘Cashmere Mafia’ focuses more on the character’s careers and how that relates to their lives (but sex is included!).

Compare, for instance, Caitlin's super fab wardrobe during (what else!) [her fashion show meltdown](http://power.networksolutions.com/index.html), Juliet [talking business on a date](http://power.networksolutions.com/index.html) and Zoe looking fab [while she...quits her job](http://power.networksolutions.com/index.html) (um), to a trailer featuring the SATC gals [chatting it up about--you guessed it---Sex](http://power.networksolutions.com/index.html) and dating in NY. Both teams of ladies look fashionably fabulous, but the clothes highlight two very different aspects of a woman's life. For Cashmere, sex and love is merely an afterthought. They've got a city to conquer and men to squash under their Gucci heels.
