MTV Prankster Wants to Open Pa. Theater

Bam Margera has been on screen plenty of times. Now he wants to own one. The professional skateboarder, prankster and MTV star is teaming with a business partner to open a theater in his hometown of West Chester.

The theater, so far unnamed, will feature musical acts, standup comedians and films. Construction is under way for a projected opening in the spring.

“This is the real deal,” said Margera, 28. “I just want to own a piece of West Chester.”

Margera has used the quaint town outside Philadelphia as a backdrop for episodes of MTV’s “Jackass” and “Viva La Bam.”
