Mario and Sonic Team up for the Olympic Games in Every Gamer's Fantasy

I presume the days of SEGA and Nintendo being arch enemies are behind us now, as Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario the, err, plumber and expert Princess-rescuer, join forces in MARIO AND SONIC AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES! Cue a stadium full of cheers and mexican waves, as every person who's ever picked up a Mega Drive or SNES controller's dream comes alive in this mash-up worthy of being framed and put on the mantlepiece.

The first time the pair have been in a game together, it will be arriving before Christmas on the Wii and DS and will be published by SEGA in Europe and North America, with Nintendo doing the honour in Japan. Not only will Sonic and Mario be competing together, but Luigi, Knuckles, Yoshi and Tails will cameo as well, competing in various Olympic events such as sprinting, swimming and table tennis.
