**Katie Holmes** is usually seen out and about with big roomy **leather handbags** that are ideal for a new mommy who needs to stash an extra diaper or two. And who can forget the _kelly green Balenciaga bag she was last seen carrying_? Katie threw us a curveball, however, by toting a sleek black **clutch** while out with her hubby **Tom Cruise**. Perfectly complementing her chic black and white ensemble, the long, slightly curved black clutch appeared to have a satin finish and was a glam, sophisticated accessory for this special evening.
