Here we are still on the hunt for a great pair of jeans for . Something.....oh I don't know, FABULOUS! There are so many things to consider. Skinny, wide, high, low, wash, color. YIKES! What's a girl to do. There seem to be so many options for Spring and Summer Jeans. Let's try to sort some of this out and come out the other end looking GORGE.
So a definite new trend is the higher rise wide legged jean. It's just crazy that some of the brands that have been known for their great drainpipes have now introduced several wide legs in their new collections. Just look at J Brand and their "Joplin" palazzo jean. So cool and perfect for so many body types. J Brand is serious about the cut here. Cut wide from the thigh down to the hem. There's a little sheen that adds some great sophistication. The cotton/linen blend is what the season requires. Yeah! J Brand didn't stop there they've also added "Lovestory" a wide leg bell, "Malik" has a wide leg with narrow hip, "Delta" the paperbag wide let fit and finally a flred "Vandevere". And if you really want to jump into this new trend take a look at GoldSign's "Scandal" A whopping 34" leg opening. Why not!? The fashion stars are really aligning this season because you can pair these with the highest of espadrilles and a cropped jacket or tuck in a tank and add a flat sandal. Options! Gotta love em.

Color is always a must for Spring and Summer and look who's getting into the mood. Diesel just opened a huge space in LA and the pop of color found there is just what the season ordered. Others jumping on the color wagon are Jordache, Citizens of Humanity, Lee, Lucky Brand and so many more. You're gonna spend the whole Spring and Summer in fun colors. Lucky Brand's "Lil' Maggie" comes in "Clifford" that's a fun take on raspberry pink. It's over-dyed, stone washed and perfect! This fit is slim and has a flared leg. Top them with something simple so that the focus is on you and the jean or make a bold statement in a contrasting shirt and jacket. If you can't envision yourself in a colorful jean then how about trying the Lucky Brand "Lola" zip jean in ol' signpost (smokey grey). Zips up with a sparkly pair of flip flops and a halter? Very nice.
