# Elle Magazine's Women in Hollywood Event

Scarlett Johansson looks very average in this black strapless dress. It is only the shoes and earrings that stand out, and neither of those are great.

Jennifer Connelly stands out wearing an embellished _Balenciaga 2008 Resort_ mini dress with Dior gladiator heels.

This is a great colour on Kate Bosworth. I love the jeweled detail on the dress. The necklace compliments rather than adds too much bling.

I love this sequined fitted dress on Tracee Ellis Ross. The copper sequins suits her skin-tone.

She completes her outfit with Christian Louboutin pumps.

Jessica Alba is also wearing Dior gladiator heels, but her outfit is not nearly as interesting as Jennifer Connelly's.

Kristen Bell looks fantastic wearing a nude dress with gold sequins which works well with her blonde hair.

It is not easy to look cute in gingham, but Ali Larter pulls it off.

I love the style of this strapless dress, but not the animal print. Maggie Grace has looked better.

Alyson Hannigan keeps in plain an simple in a black dress and peep-toe Louboutin's.

I am not crazy about the design of this dress.

I love this dress on Melissa George, but not the lipstick.

Apart from the [nude pumps](https://shoes.allwomenstalk.com/best-nude-pumps/), Julia Louis Dreyfus gets it very wrong here. Not only does the dress look a little tight, but it also does nothing for her breasts, in fact it minimizes them.

This is a cute dress I would not expect Amber Tamblyn to wear. All is well excluding the black shoes.

I am so hating the bottom lace part of this dress on Ali Landry. It would have been so much better without it.
