# Did Celine Dion 'Murder' the Worst Cover Song?

If you’re as much of a music lover as I am, you would know that it takes real talent to come up with an equally good -if not a better version -of an original song by another artist.

From the time of the **Beatles **up to now, dozens of songs are still being covered by the biggest **musical **artists -with a touch of ‘contemporary’ embedded in the arrangement. But should artists even attempt to mess with the **classics**, or should they just leave them be?

Apparently, **Celine Dion** made a mistake in this department.

**Celine Dion** is responsible for the world's **worst cover version**, a poll of music experts has decided.

The **Canadian **star's **rendition **of the AC/DC track **You Shook Me All Night Long **was given the dubious honour in the **Total Guitar** magazine survey. Editor **Stephen Lawson** said Dion's cover was "sacrilege".

The good news is that the **track **was never released as a single.

Other songs which made it in the list of the worst covers include **Sugababes and **Girls Aloud** for their version of “**Walk This Way”. The number 3 spot belongs to **Westlife**’s cover of “**More than Words**” -well, they’re a [boyband](https://allwomenstalk.com/top-10-boy-bands-of-all-time/)!

The number 4 and 5 spot belonged to **Will Young**’s cover of **Door**’s classic “**Light My Fire**” and **Mike Flowers** who did his own version of “**Wonderwall**”.
