Most of us focus on losing weight in our stomachs, thighs, and butts. Of course, there are plenty of other spots on your body that you should work out. If you're self-conscious about your face, then you can try doing exercises that are meant to slim your neck. Here are a few that you can try today:

1 Kinn auf Brust-Hals-Stretch

This exercise requires you to sit on the floor with your legs stretched out in front of you. Place your hands behind your neck and use them to push your neck slightly. You should be bringing your chin to your chest, and then bringing your head back up slowly. This will stretch out your neck muscles.

2 Isometric Neck Exercise

Now you should place your hands on your forehead. Keep your head up while you place pressure on your forehead, which will cause you to work your neck muscles to keep your head in place. Once you're finished, you should move your hands to the back of your head and repeat the exercise. It sounds simple, but it's a legitimate workout.

3 Plate Neck Resistance

For this exercise, you should place your stomach against a bench with your upper chest, neck, and head off of the bench. Hold a weight on the back of your head while you move your head and neck up and down slowly. Just make sure to avoid using a weight that is too heavy, because you don't want to end up injuring yourself instead of bettering yourself.

4 Prone Bench Neck Bridge

For this exercise, all you have to do is find a bench or a couch that you can rest your head on. Then you should keep your back straight out while in the air, and keep your feet against the ground with your knees bent. Remain in that position for as long as you can without straining yourself.

5 Neck Stretches

These neck stretches should firm your neck and face. All you have to do is jut out your chin while smiling in order to feel a constriction in your neck. You can also "kiss the ceiling" by lifting your chin up as much as you can and puckering up your lips. Then you can try "the baby bird," where you'll place the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth while smiling and swallowing.

6 Wall Exercise

The man in this video will tell you all you'd ever need to know about your neck muscles. Skip ahead to 4:50 in order to hear the actual exercise he wants you to do. All you really have to do is place your body against the wall. Then you should turn your palms out and place your tongue against the roof of your mouth while pressing your neck into the wall behind you.

7 Tongue Push Ups

Skip ahead to 1:45 in order to hear another neck exercise. You should lift your chin as high as you can and press your tongue up against the roof of your mouth as many times as you can. Then you can relax your face.
