I’m afraid to say before I bought this hair dryer all I ever used was blow dryers from Walmart…I thought a hair dryer is a hair dryer. This hair dryer is light weight, instead of blowing my curls with a tornado force wind…it heats and blows the hair dry gently..and in a very short amount of time I might add. I was initially concerned that it was “only” 1300 watts…the Chi Pro dried it faster and better. If you have naturally curly hair this hair dryer is a must. I could have spent less and certainly more money…but I’m glad I didn’t
