# Cellulite 101 \- Definition and Cause ...

There are things whether we want or not, we have to face to; there are terms whether you are interested or not, we have to learn. Unfortunately, cellulite, is something I have been focusing on lately and you know why if you are a woman. (85-99% of women has some sort of cellulite problem. Maybe it is the only beneficial of those skinny models?)

**Definition:**

A colloquial term for deposits of subcutaneous fat and fibrous tissue that cause a dimpling effect on the overlying skin. These deposits most commonly occur on the thighs and hips of women.

Cellulite is the dimpling pattern on skin caused by lobules of underlying adipose tissue. Cellulite is not a medical or scientific term but refers only to aesthetics. It is unrelated to cellulitis, which is infection of the skin and its underlying connective tissue.

**The cause**
According to many cosmetic magazines and websites, the cause of cellulite is remain unknown.

**How do I know I have cellulite?**
This was something jumped right into my head when I first introduced to the term cellulite. Discover it is much more easier than remove it. You just pinch your cellulite-prone areas to see whether it appears. If your cellulite problem is more serious, you can even see it without any pinch.

There are few ways you can remove or reduce your cellulite.
