The Atlanta Chapter of The Recording Academy honored Ludacris, Trish Yearwood, Mike Clark (co owner and manager of Southern Tracks Recordings) and Organized Noize Productions for their contributions to the Atlanta music community. The honorees and other VIPs celebrated at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel last week to celebrate these outstanding individuals whose, "work embodies excellence and integrity and who have improved the environment for the creative community."

Grammy-winner Chris "Ludacris" Bridges is only 29 and is a musician, actor, CEO of Disturbing Tha Peace Records and founder of the Ludacris Foundation.

Trisha Yearwood is a three-time Grammy-winning Country music star and has released 11 albums.

Mike Clark is the co-owner and manager of Southern Track Recording and passed away earlier this year. His facility is one of the most successful recording houses in Atlanta and has contributed to the combines sales of more than 40 million albums.

Organized Noize Productions is a groundbreaking trio that helped shape the "Atlanta Sound" that dominates hip-hop and the trio has worked with TLC, En Vogue, Ludacris as well as Outkast and Goodie Mob.
