During the ride, if you have kids, they will get bored. It would be a great idea to take something, such as a Nintendo DS, on the ride with you. This way, the kids will not get bored and keep asking if they are there yet.

If you do not inspect your vehicle before you take off, you could end up sitting on the side of the road. You don’t want this to happen now, do you? This would not be fun. So, you need to inspect that vehicle before you take off.
4. Not Budgeting Yourself
When you go on a trip, if you do not budget yourself, you could end up spending more than what you bintended and not having any money left. So, you need to budget yourself and make sure you do not overspend.
3. Announcing when You Will Be Gone Online
Do you have a Facebook? Do you have a Myspace? How about a blog? If so, then you should not announce on it that you will be gone. This is saying that your house is open and you can go in and take stuff if you want. Wait until you return from the trip and announce the lovely trip you just went on.

When you travel, it is important to make copies of your Passport, ID and any other important documents you have taken with you. You never know when someone is going to steal these things, so it is best to make copies of them.
1. Not Checking to See if There is a Holiday
Some countries have holidays, while others do not. It would be a real shame to arrive somewhere in the middle of a holiday and find nothing open. So, if you are traveling to a foreign country, make sure you check to see if there are any holidays going on.
