7 Unsafe Places for Girls ...

It’s hard to feel safe in this world. There are so many rapists, thieves, and killers roaming around. In public, you probably pass by them, but they do not do anything, because you are in a public area where there are a lot of people. Below, I am going to give you 7 unsafe places for girls.

Of course, I like the woods, I always have, but I am going to list them as being unsafe. They’re not just unsafe for girls, they’re unsafe for guys as well. If you go to the woods, you should take a partner with you.

Bad things lurk in the dark – so, you should avoid going anywhere in the dark alone. So many girls end up missing or raped because they went out in the dark, when all the “good” people were sleeping. Someone can easily take you from a parking lot.

A Bar

I don’t like bars. I never have. Of course, that may be because I am not a drinker, but I do not think that is a bad thing. I have kids and you shouldn’t drink when you have kids – I have my reasons to say this. Point blank, the bar is not a place for girls.

A Club

You should not go to a club alone or leave with someone in the night that you just met. Some of you may disagree with me on this, but that’s fine. We all have our opinions. If you do go to a club alone, you should at least let someone know where you are going.

A Back Alley

This one is common sense, really, but I felt that I had to include this or one of you would say “what about a back alley?” You don’t know what lurks back there and you probably do not want to know.

Does this sound like a good idea to you? This sounds like something straight out of a horror movie to me. You never know if you are going to break down on the side of the road, no matter how good of a car you have. Sure, you may have a cellphone, but what happens when the reception goes down? Stranded in the middle of nowhere alone is not a good idea, so you should avoid getting yourself into these situations.

Meeting Someone Online without a Friend

Sure, you may have talked to the guy online for a long time, you feel as if you have known him all of your life, but you really do not know him, because you have only spoken online. You know what he has told you, but you do not know if that is true or not. Meeting someone online without a friend with you is a setup for disaster.

There you have 7 unsafe places for girls. These are places you should not go alone. It seems like you always have to have someone with you, but sometimes, that is better than being unsafe – at least tell one person where you are going before you go. Can you think of any other unsafe places?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Actually these are only riskier places. Any ordinary place like office can be dangerous if you are surrounded by WOLVES and/or cant use your common sense or you are provocative.

When I was about 17, some man tried to lure me into his car when I was walking to my busstop in the morning. It sucks that women have to extra cautious because of a few sickos out there :( Men have a lot more freedom (especially growing up), but in the same token, I would have rather had my father constantly check up on me than him not caring about where and whom I'm with.

Great list! It really amazes me how many people think it's safe to meet up with someone you met online. I mean, if you are going to meet up with them and don't want to bring a friend, at least go to a public place. A woman I worked with was going to meet up with a guy she had been talking to online for a few months, but since he refused to meet in a public place she wouldn't go. It is scary to think of how many other woman might have thought nothing of that and could have been hurt.

i've put myself in some dangerous situations before, i was young and naive. I guess i can say i was lucky to not have been kidnapped or raped. But i'm wiser today and i won't walk alone at 5am or enter a stranger's car (he gave me a lift home) again!
