# 7 Simple Ways to Improve Your Diet without Depriving Yourself ...

Most of us could do with[improving our diet](https://allwomenstalk.com/10-diet-tips-that-really-work/). I know I'm a bit too fond of [sugary treats](https://allwomenstalk.com/10-best-sweet-tooth-snacks/), but I don't like the idea of doing without. So I've been thinking of some easy ways to eat better without making mealtimes boring.

## 1. Don't like Water?

Be a smoothie. This is a great way to get [some vitamins](https://allwomenstalk.com/7-vitamins-you-should-take/) into your [diet](https://diet.allwomenstalk.com/inexpensive-tips-to-improve-your-diet/), and so much more refreshing than[fizzy drinks](https://health.allwomenstalk.com/ways-to-reduce-your-cancer-risk/)!

Well, who can live without it? More importantly, why would you want to? So instead of cheap supermarket [chocolate](https://allwomenstalk.com/all-you-need-to-know-about-french-chocolate/), buy the best you can afford and make it last (okay, who am I trying to kid there?)

Even a balcony can house some pots and give you fresh fruit or veggies – some fruit trees are bred for growing in containers. I’m planning to make use of my sunny terrace this summer – even though plants usually die as soon as I look at them!
