What, you may ask, is an inter-facial relationship? It’s a successful, happy relationship in which one of the partners is far more good-looking than the other — think Hugh Hefner and every Playboy Bunny ever. No-one’s sure how or why these relationships work, but they do… here are 7 Hollywood inter-facial relationships to demonstrate my point.

Hugh Jackman and Deborra Lee Furness

Don’t get me wrong: Deborra is a lovely woman, and it really appears that she and Jackman are a very happy couple. I love that she’s always smiling or pulling a face in every photo they appear in together. But she’s just not nearly as gorgeous as her husband. Snarky, I know. I’m sorry.

J-Lo is a gorgeous, curvy woman, with a lot of style and spunk. Marc Anthony? He looks like a zombie, a well-dressed, dour zombie. They may be in love, but she’s definitely out of his league!

At some point in the distant past, Michael Douglas was attractive. The problem is that Catherine Zeta-Jones is currently smoking-hot, and he’s… well, not. I’m so happy they’re together though, because can you think of better inspiration to battle and overcome cancer than a gorgeous wife like her?

An entire generation of hair-rock fans were devastated when Bon Jovi married his high-school sweetheart, Dorothea. Secretly, I was rooting for them. I wanted the plain girl to land the hottie, and she did… and they’re still together, all these years later.

Beyonce and Jay-Z

She’s hot, he’s not. Again, this woman is incredibly gorgeous, stylish, and hot hot hot. Jay-Z may be talented, and they’re obviously happy together… but wow. He’s not the most attractive man, is he? Or at least not as good-looking as Beyonce.
Those are just a few of the many inter-facial couples in Hollywood, but there are so many more, and for some reason, they’re all so happy! Which of these couples do you like best? Can you think of any other inter-facial relationships I left off my list?
