Do you really think his name is “50 cent?” His real name is Curtis Jackson. Curtis Jackson isn’t really that bad of a name, is it? I don’t know if I could get used to referring to him under this name though.

Surely, you know Axl Rose. I mean, who here hasn’t heard of him? Okay, for those of you who do not know, he is the lead vocalist of Guns ‘N Roses. His real name is William Bailey. For some, that’s a surprise, but if you’re fans, you probably already knew his real birth name.

I had to add this one in. Her real birth name was Vickie Lynn Hogan. I think that name actually had a ring to it. Vickie was a good name for her.

Since I am a big fan of him, I already knew this, but when I first learned his real name, I laughed a bit. His birth name is: Marshall Bruce Mathers III. He seems a bit like a Marshall, doesn’t he? It shouldn’t surprise you, because he mentions Marshall in some of his songs.

Do you go gaga for Lady Gaga? What about her real name? You don’t know her real name? Come to think of it, I never thought about looking up her real name until a week ago and then I was surprised to see it. Her real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. Wow!
See, these celebrities weren’t naturally blessed with good names! Many of them picked other names. Were they too embarrassed to use their real name?
