I don’t know about you ladies but I’ve been showering, really since birth. And since the start of my bathing career I’ve seen many products come and go. So, I thought I would use my years of experience and share my knowledge of the best and worst products that one finds in their shower at one time or another.

Razors

Razors Best: Shick Slim Triple Disposable Razor
Price: + $7.99 at drugstore.com
You may be a little wary but really, it’s the best razor I’ve found to date. They’re cheap, they do what they’re supposed to, and they give you that nice, clean and close shave that every woman is looking for. And they’re slim!
Razors Worst: (bold) Shick Quattro for Women High Performance Disposable Razors
Price: (bold) $7.99 at drugstore.com
Fawn Giveth and Fawn taketh away. Shick provides me with both my favorite and least favorite razors. This Quattro’s top is too bulky and despite the addition of an extra blade, it really fails to impress me with the closeness of its shave and I really hatein-grown hair! I give it 4 thumbs down, for each of its useless blades.

2

Shampoo

Shampoo Best: Burt’s Bees Super Shiny Grapefruit and Sugar Beet Shampoo
Price: $7.99 at drugstore.com
I am a lover of all the Burt’s Bees products. This one though has come to rest comfortably at the top of my list. It smells fantastic and really does leave myhair looking super shiny and amazing, even after I straighten and damage it daily. Try and and I’m sure it will be at the top of your list as well!
Shampoo Worst: Sunsilk Hydra TLC Shampoo
Price: $4.49 at amazon.com
I’m sure you’ve seen those catchy commercials where the woman with the frizzy hair gets a quick Sunsilk makeover and got swept up in the craze. I did too. For all of 5 minutes, and then I realized, the gimmick is just to catch your eye and the product is really a disappointment. No magical makeover from frizzy to fabulous hair for anyone that uses Sunsilk.

3

Conditioner

Conditioner Best: Yes to Carrots Pampering Hair Mud Conditioner
Price: $5.99 at drugstore.com
True, the thought of mud on your hair does sound a little… not fun... but this stuff is pretty amazing. The whole Yes to Carrots line is to be completely honest. After using it your hair isTRULY conditioned and you’ll love how it feels!
Conditioner Worst: Garnier Fructis Haircare Fortifying Deep Condtioner 3 Minute Masque, Sleek and Shine
Price: $7.79 at drugstore.com
Not only is the name incredibly long and annoying but this is another product with a catchy commercial but nothing to back it up. Just when you thought you would be joined in a fully clothed outdoor shower by some attractive boy that ties your hair in a knot… all in all, it left my hair dry and feeling fried. Not something that I buy conditioner to do.

4

Face Wash

Face Wash Best: Philosophy Purity Made Simple
Price: $32.00 at drugstore.com
Alright, this product may break the bank a little but it is actually pretty worth it. When they say that it’s one step, they mean it. It cleanses your face like none other. Just wash your face with it and you’ll see what I mean.
Face Wash Worst: Oxy Acne Treatment, Maximum Strength
Price: $5.59 at drugstore.com
HARSH, HARSH, HARSH — that’s all I can say to talk about this wash. It says daily use right on the bottle but what they mean is after one day's use your face will feel dry and brittle. In this case when they say maximum strength, they mean it. So stay far away.

5

Body Wash

Body Wash Best: Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash, Pink Grapefruit
Price: $7.99 at drugstore.com
Ah the smell of grapefruit...citrusy and delicious. I love this body wash with everything in me. It smells fantastic and it leaves you feeling clean and tingly. Well, maybe not tingly but definitely amazingly clean and fresh. This is definitely a skin care product you should consider!
Body Wash Worst: Zest Stimulating Fusions Body Wash, Tangerine Mango Twist
Price: $3.49 at drugstore.com
The smell of this body wash is pretty good, if you like an over powering fake fruity scent, but at the end of your shower you can literally feel all the scum that gets left over on your body. All in all, it’s not a pleasant body wash and I will NEVER buy it again, no matter how cheap it is.

Body Scrub

Body Scrub Best: De-luxe BAIN Foaming Body Scrub, Rosemary Mint
Price: $5.99 at drugstore.com
Never in my life have I used a body scrub that wasn’t from Sephora that I love this much. The smell is dainty and delicate while still present and the body scrubACTUALLY scrubs. It’s amazing and something you can use every day.
Body Scrub Worst: LaLicious Brown Sugar And Vanilla Sugar Souffle Body Scrub
Price: $ 31.99 at drugstore.com
Alright, so at least this product smells good, but for $31.99 it better be doing a pretty good job of scrubbing and let me tell you, it falls flat. I couldn’t even feel the scrubbers working their magic because… they weren’t. I expected to be wowed and I was, sadly I was wowed right away from this product.

7

Loofahs

Loofahs Best: Buf-Puf Double-Sided Body Sponge
Price: $4.99 at drugstore.com
I was a little wary about this sponge when I first bought it. The description said that it was abrasive which is not the first word that springs to mind when I’m talking about what I want in a sponge. But, it was abrasive in all the right ways and also great for theloose skin after weightloss and now, I use it all the time. I love it, and you will too!
Loofahs Worst: Aromafloria Healing Waters Soft Scrubber
Price: $3.99 at drugstore.com
Well, this was a bust. I bought it because like anyone else I’m a sucker for a good price and it was on clearance. So I got home excited, ran warm water for a relaxing bath and boy was I disappointed. Loofahs are supposed to make things like body wash lather while you use them. This loofah just held on tight to the blob and wouldn’t let go. It’s not something you want rubbing on your body, trust me.

8

Exfoliators

Exfoliators Best: Grandpa’s Old Fashioned Oatmeal Soap for Face and Bath
Price: $3.39 and drugstore.com
Who says old timers aren’t great? This has a pleasant smell, an amazing feel and a great price. I’ve recommended it to friends and they all love it as much as I do. There really isn’t a downside to this product and it works great for your pores!
Exfoliators Worst: Neutrogena Deep Clean Relaxing Nightly Scrub
Price: $7.49 at drugstore.com
UGH! When I exfoliate I want to feel or see a difference in a couple of weeks, otherwise the product isn’t doing its job. This is a terribleproduct for pores. They were just as clogged the day I threw this product away as they were the day I started using it. I won’t ever, EVER put this on my face again. It’s basically just there for show.

9

Shaving Cream

Shaving Cream Best: Skintimate Moisturizing Shave Cream, Dry Skin with Glycerin
Price: $3.99 at drugstore.com
Really, you can’t get much better than Skintimate. And, this is the only shaving cream that I have ever used that makes my legs feel smooth even when they’re incredibly dry. All year round they fight away thedry skinbrought on by the seasons and all year round, it wins.
Shaving Cream Worst: Bikini Zone Anti-Irritation Shave Gel, Sensitive Skin
Price: $4.29 at drugstore.com
What a JOKE. I used this product just like it told me to to fight off those unsightly bumps and low and behold, more showed up. So I changed my razor, thinking it was dull. No change. Used less gel, more gel, used hot water, then cold, went with the hair and not against it and still, more bumps than before. So, I changed my shaving cream. And that was my answer.

10

Shower Oil

Shower Oil Best: Eucerin Calming Body Wash Daily Shower Oil
Price: $7.19 at drugstore.com
And I’m moisturized in the shower, singing songs about my oils, in the shower. This is the only shower oil that I’ve ever used that doesn’t make me feel greasy and I love it. Although the scent does leave a little to be desired, it really does work amazingly well! Perfect forwinter skin care!
Shower Oil Worst: Sebamed Cleansing Shower Oil for Sensitive Skin
Price: $11.99 at drugstore.com
Everyone told me that this was the best shower oil I would ever buy, EVERYONE. I’m here to tell you that everyone was a liar when they told me that. It felt greasy and laid on top of my skin instead of soaking in. I hate it and I threw it out after 3 uses. Save your money and pass!

Well ladies, I’ve shared my knowledge of all products that are shower related and now it’s your turn. Do you have Bests and Worsts that you would like to tell me about? Would you like to agree or disagree about any of them? Let me know!

okay what the heck. seriously? ur list is completely wrong! Everything on the worst list works for me and the good list are the crappy products. Get ur list right woman.

I have to disagree about sunsilk! I can never find them anymore, but their wavy hair line was just the best, especially the sea-salt spray. I miss it! Yes to carrots is completely amazing though, and Garnier conditioner sucks. I really like the original clean and clear scrub (NOT any of the new-fangled ones that added harsh ingredients), and another to add to the WORST list is that skintimate shaving lotion. Unlike the gel/foam versions, which are great, the lotion gets stuck in the blade and stays there. I'd have to change the blade for every shower if I kept using this stuff! No. Thanks. Good list-- I'm always looking for the drugstore gems to save some money!

I think your blog is marvelous I found it on Google. Definetely will return tomorrow! I am very exsiting about learning newthingsBest Regards, Mony

Ya this Garnier product I cant beleive how can they fake such a big name

I hate hate hate the Garnier Fructis 3 minute masque. It did NOTHING for my hair. Complete waste of money and time. Completely agree with you on this one! Also agree with the Yes To Carrots line, loooove everything I've tried from that line And the only skintimate shave cream that has ever worked for me is their non lathering line. But my all time favorite to date is the Victoria's Secret non lathering violet & jasmine shave cream. smells good and makes my skin soft and gives me a close shave. I feel like I get a much closer shave with the non lathering ones.

I guess we always forget how we are all different in some aspects. What might be the best for one, not necessarily be the best for some one else. Fawn only had honest opinion i believe.

Thats true Sunsilk makes no magic its fake
