Should this be a case of “Don’t count the chickens before they’re hatched?” Looks like Sex and the City stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall are already picturing in their minds what the script for the next film will be.
SJP was quoted as saying to USMagazine.com that (the possibility) of another film is already in the works, and she’s discussing it with writer Michael Patrick King.
“It’s all about the story,” Parker says. “If we can’t tell a story that’s really worthy of an audience, then we won’t do it. We’ve been really lucky at this point. We’ve been in people’s good graces for a long time, and we take that very seriously. So that’s the biggest challenge, the story.”
So what are the dream sequel settings for the other SATC girls? For Cynthia Nixon, it’s a mad cap adventure. Meanwhile, Kim Cattrall wants her character Samantha to remain single.
Hold on, girls – let’s wait for the deal to be finalized before thinking about the shoes and outfits that you’ll wear for the sequel, okay?

The most important part is that they are considering the possibility, and as for the plot, i have strong faith in Hollywood script writers - iam sure they will come up with something absolutely fabulous!!!

I was really touched by the first SATC movie…….it was sooo romantic………especially when they finally tied the knot!!! If they make a second one…….I’ll be one of millions of women around the world who’ll be at the movies everyday……….not forgetting the fabulous clothes…shoes….men………….this is GREAT!!!

I love this show!! Series, movie, it is the best!!! I remember when Friends - the show, had it’s final episode, you know-you let these shows/ladies into your home and somehow they become part of your friends/family, sounds silly but these ladies really became part of my life! I would love to see Part 2 of SATC. I think the writers/producers can do a lot with another movie. They did such a good job with ther series and the movie. One thing, I think I need more closure for Samantha though……I hear if there is a part 2, she wants her character to remain single. If this would be the last movie, I think the fans need a bit of security for her, at least so we know she would be ok out there, being single over the age 50. Anyways, please let there be a part 2. It will do excellent!!! Go for it ladies!!
