Check out this new Jordache jeans ad featuring Project Runway’s Heidi Klum posing in a bathtub wearing ultra-tight skinny jeans – in a bubble bath!
It was only last year that the always-young-looking Mrs. Seal replaced Elizabeth Hurley as the spokesperson for the denim brand. The look for that campaign was Heidi appearing topless – wearing the jeans, of course – and holding a whip. The 2007 campaign was shot at Chateau Marmont and movie director Brett Ratner’s work back then was excellent.
I personally think that the 2008 ad is innovative, to say the least. It’s like she’s saying that Jordache jeans are too comfy for her to remove while she’s soaking in a bubble bath.
The concept may be weird – but Ms. Heidi’s lookin’ her usual sexy self – so the campaign’s still hot for me!

Very nice…….or better yet one of the best demin ads I’ve seen in a while!!!
oh man! dunno if there are words to adequately describe how sexy she looks in that ad. Wish there were more photos available. Definitely a fav & totally love this ad! Hot girl wearing skin tight jeans & high heels in the bath is soooo erotic & such a turn on! Her comfortable look in those skinny jeans implies they’re too sexy to strip off for bathing & are ideal for getting wet. Think these tight skinny jeans look sexy when dry? Try wearing them wet & turn everyone on esp yourself is likely this ad’s message. I think she’s lovin’ the look & feel of her tight jeans all wet & sexy.
Yep, you are right, guys, that’s one of the sexiest ads we’ve seen in a while!
I don’t know what exactly it is that makes it so sexy: the wet jeans, the bath, or Heidi Klum herself… It must be this combination of all 3, that does the trick! :)
I think the ad works on so many levels. There is an undeniable, universal appeal to wet clothing. The naughtiness, combined with the visual impact of clinging wet jeans on the female form, pushes many buttons- all of them right on target.
Just look back at the golden age of designer jeans. Zena Jeans did a whole take on wetlook, inspired by Bo Derek in “10″, cornrows and all. A beautiful woman emerges from the ocean, slowly, bikini top revealed first. As she continues, we realize she is not wearing a bikini botom, but a perfect pair of soaked form-fitting jeans. The site was stunning, and certainly made an impact on me as a teen.
Calvin Klein and other big names used wetlook quite often. I think this is like a nod to those glory days of the late 70’s and early 80’s. It works!
SBF.
the above comments pretty well describe it perfectly…incredible sex appeal in this photo concept. hope this give other labels like J Brand Rock & Republic some powerful marketing ideas for ad campaigns with their skinny jeans.
