I dressed in something nice because I was meeting his mom at her birthday party. I had to meet all his extended family too. Lucky he only has a mom and no siblings. I just dressed nice, smiled, was confident, and let myself have fun and be open to everything. It was a good time. My boyfriend was impressed by how well I did. I am 19 and he is 24 and I am white and he is black. It was fun. Just be yourself, it's not too scary. He is such a momma’s boy and i was so scared!
