I’ve always wondered why some of us find it utterly difficult to leave a B-A-D relationship. Is it a case of you wanting to be miserable with him, than be miserable without him?
FYI, I borrowed this line from Meredith’s line to Derek in that Grey’s Anatomy season finale. Something like her wanting then to be extraordinary together than ordinary apart.
Anyways, my point is that you should know WHEN to call it quits. Here are the top 5 signs:
1. You feel that your conversations are stilted – they’re more of a necessity than a matter of you wanting to talk about anything under the sun with your man.
2. You see your girlfriend’s boyfriend and think “Why isn’t my bf more like him?”
3. You don’t mind if he doesn’t call for days on end.
4. It’s always you who gives – or gets.
5. You no longer feel good about yourself.
If all of these signs are present, it’s high time to reconsider if the one who you’re with is really the one who you want to be with.

The song I’d rather be alone than be unhappy comes to mind when I read this. Guess cos it’s true!!!
But then again it’s easier said than done……..especially when you believe you love someone!!!
Ugh - so true Khanyo! Your brain knows exactly what to do - but your heart holds you back every time.
I think there is usually a “last straw” moment - a breaking point, and when it happens you tell yourself - ok i am NOT putting up with this anymore, i deserve better.
The hardest part is when no one does anything that’s necessarily wrong and so both parties feel guilty for ending it … hmmm sounds like I can relate huh?
lol
Hmm, if you love someone, all those reasons probably do not apply…
There are some people, like my Mom who are these hard butt perfectionists and she’ll always be questioning why my Dad and I are not more like….. . Although, she loves us both very much…
