Britney Spears has entered rehab for the third time in less than a week according to TMZ.com. The emergency custody hearing has been canceled due to her third attempt at curing her ills. Sources say Kevin Federline said he would cancel the hearing if she entered rehab again today.
Sources tell TMZ Federline is concerned for Spears’ welfare and wants her to get the help she is now seeking. We’re also told this will be Spears’ last chance — if she leaves rehab before getting full treatment, Federline will immediately go to court seeking orders allowing him unquestioned full custody of the children.
We’re told Spears showed up at Federline’s house to see the children last night and he wouldn’t let her in.
I can’t say I blame Kevin for playing hard ball at this point. It all makes his case for custody look that much stronger. Basically he is giving Britney rope to hang herself and she is doing a terrific job at it.

Kevin Federline and his lawyer will be in court on Thursday for an emergency hearing regarding the custody issue between him and former pop star Britney Spears.
“Our best information is he will be here; she won’t,” said Parachini. “But anything is possible.”
Federline filed papers seeking spousal support and sole custody of the children after Spears sought to end their two-year marriage last November. A temporary court order issued Feb. 1 granted the couple joint custody until the end of this month.
Parachini said Federline’s lawyer would try to persuade a Superior Court commissioner that the matter is urgent enough to be handled on an expedited basis.
Britney’s odd behavior over the past two weeks could come back to haunt Spears where she fears most…custody of her two small boys.
Popping in and out of rehab centers around the world is not a smart move for someone involved in a child custody battle with her estranged husband, said New York-based family law attorney Joshua Forman, who is not involved in Spears’ case.
After leaving Promises on Wednesday, Spears attempted to keep a low profile but the celebrity Web site TMZ.com posted video of her wearing a wig and leaving what it said was a lawyer’s office.
Reverend Billy Graham would have a hard time getting custody of Brit’s kids if they had been married because the courts so heavily lean towards giving custody of children to the mother. When you add to the fact that Kevin Federline is not Billy Graham it makes it that much less likely that he will be able to obtain custody of Sean and Jayden. Someone who could file a petition and possible be granted temporary custody of the children is Britney’s mother. That would basically just be a legal maneuver with the wide-held belief that her mother has the children the majority of the time as it is.

Troubled twenty-something Britney Spears entered rehab for the second time this week. Perhaps her stint will last a bit longer this time. Spears has checked into Promises treatment center in Malibu, California to try to cure some of her ills.
Spears manager Larry Rudolph confirmed to PEOPLE magazine.
“Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed rehab facility today,” Rudolph says in a statement. “We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”
Get well Britney and try horse shampoo. It really makes the hair grow fast.

There is always a market for anything connected with a celebrity….even their dead hair. Allie is Wired is reporting that the salon where Britney Spears shaved her head at is selling the dark locks on Ebay. Also included is her Red Bull can and Bic lighter.
My guess, is that US Weekly, In Touch, OK, Star or some other celebrity magazine will purchase the hair and have it tested for drugs – so they can officially report on what drugs she’s been taking!
I believe Allie is right on with her prediction. And honestly it will be very intriguing to see what drugs she was on when she decided to become Sigourney Weaver in Alien.
The current bidding as of this posting is $1,100,000.00 dollars which for the non math geeks is just over $1 million dollars. View the Ebay Auction for Brit’s hair. The bidding will only last for two more days. Look for the final bidding to reach nearly $2 million dollars or possibly $5 million if a big investor comes in.

Some gratuitous vulgarity by the Metal Skool folks precluded Vigoda from linking it on a family newspaper. Gone Hollywood has no such restrictions:
