Jennifer Aniston shows why Brad Pitt left her

Jennifer Aniston did a great job on Dirt last night showing all of America why exactly Brad Pitt left her.  In the most over-hyped lesbian kiss of all-time former Friends co-stars Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston locked lips.  I have cousins that kiss better than this.  No wonder Brad left her for Angelina’s plump lips and skilled hips.

Graphic Footage of Gene Simmons Plastic Surgery

The clip below is from Gene Simmons (KISS) plastic surgery and is not for one with a weak stomach.  I have mixed feelings about a rock god and hero going under the knife but I guess I would too if a Playboy Playmate was encouraging me and holding my hand along the way.

Simmons and Playboy girlfriend (of 20 years) Shannon Tweed got his and her face lifts on their reality TV show Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels. The show can be seen on A&E.

Marvin Gaye’s National Anthem

Their has been a handful of breathtaking performances of the Star Spangled Banner.  Some of the better versions were Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock in 1969 and Whitney Houston at the Super Bowl in the early 90’s. By far the best version on record, in my opinion, is the late Marvin Gaye’s version from the 1983 NBA All-Star Game.

Todd Mintz was at the game and has discussed the power and emotion that Marvin Gaye put into this legendary performance.

Then he started to sing… and he sang very slowly, drawing out every syllable of every word.  Marvin took a full minute to sing the first line of the Anthem.

As Marvin was delivering that very first line, I felt like I was struck by lightning.  I knew with certainty that I was witnessing something very special—a watershed cultural event that would be talked about many decades into the future.

Between the second and third lines of the Anthem, our entire section arose en masse and began clapping to the beat which we continued to do for the rest of the song.  For what seemed like hours, we weren’t in the Fabulous Forum…we were in the pews of Marvin’s church…a church none of us white suburbanites would likely ever visit in person.  Through the most unlikely of musical vehicles, Marvin gave us the essence of Soul, personal and collective.

Did others see what I saw and feel what I felt?  I knew others dug the Anthem and were groovin’ to it.  But did they participate in the groove or just passively partake?  Were they tripping like me?  Did they trip at all?  I didn’t know, couldn’t know.

Marvin Gaye died tragically from a gunshot from his father almost a year after his performance at the NBA All-Star game. No one else in music has done or will ever do what Marvin did over the course of his three decades in show business.

George Takei on Tim Hardaway Homosexual Comments (Video)

“Star Trek” star George Takei, who recently came out as gay, made this video for Jimmy Kimmel commenting on former NBA star Tim Hardaway’s anti-gay comments:

This has been going around for awhile, apparently, as my co-bloggers Alex Knapp and Chris Lawrence both had it on their personal sites some time back and Steven Taylor picked it up, too. Still, it’s pretty funny.

Kellie Pickler shows off her Investment(s) on Idol

Ryan Seacrest asked her what she had bought with all of her new found wealth. Kellie replied ’shoes, lots of shoes’, but it looks like she bought the rack the shoes came on as well.

Video of Britney Spears attacking the Paps

YouTube footage of Britney Spears losing it and attacking the paparazzi with an umbrella and some very naughty words. This occurred while she was at Kevin Federline’s house trying to see her two boys. Britney is out of control but I really can’t disagree with her for going after those sharks as they put cameras up to the car windshield and take photo after photo after photo without her consent.
