Do you know what it feels like to be young  and earning millions? To be a young adult that already has been to all glamorous places on Earth and has worn clothes worth more than the average Joe earns in a year? To still have the beauty of youth but all the experiences a retiree would envy? Sounds delightful but not everyone in young Hollywood are on the right track. They’re young, they make mistakes. Some, however, remain an inspiration.

1. Evan Rachel Wood And True Blood

I love this show and I sad that it will be ending soon. But I am also happy that I finally get to meet Queen Sophie-Ann. When I heard that they cast Evan Rachel for the role, I was happy as well. I love her face and I think her looks are perfect to play the queen. Read this post to see what she thinks of her role.

2. Mischa Barton And her Recent Problems

This interview is a bit heartbreaking. It seems that this young star is still lost and needs all the guidance that she needs. Let’s all hope that she finds her anchor soon. She’s  a good actress and she can still shine if she gets all the help she  needs.

3. Lindsay Lohan and Her Robbers

Could Lindsay have robbed her own place to get attention? There is a surviellance tape of some people during the criminal act. Some bloggers think that she robbed her own place. I cannot say for certain if it is really her because the screen captures are grainy. Still, there is a bit of a resemblance. Judge for yourself.

4. Ed Westwick and His Sexual Orientation

Well, HIS sexual orientation is an old issue that he has made clear over and over again. But on their show, Gossip Girls, it seems that Chuck will have to take a taste of his own kind during an upcoming episode. Of course, he will have to do it for Blair, that conniving little fashionista.

5. Avril Lavigne and Her Marriage

Or what’s left of it. Rumors say that Avril and her husband, Deryk Whibley, are divorcing. Avril has been seen partying all over the place with boys while Deryk has been doing his own thing by his lonesome. This is sad but I think that Avril married young. A certain maturity is needed for a marriage to work. And I don’t think that a singer who sings the songs she does is mature.

I hate to admit it, but I’ve been slightly obsessed with watching The Hills on MTV for the past few seasons. Part of it is that there’s something about watching meaningless juvenile drama unfold that I find absolutely enjoyable and necessary.

But the other part is I that I love seeing the great outfits the girls wear, and I look forward to getting glimpses of the fashion industry through Lauren Conrad’s (LC) internship at Teen Vogue and her pursuit of becoming a designer.

Launching her first line last year, and being invited to showcase at LA Fashion Week for the first time this year, LC is finding some early success in her fashion career already. Her Spring 08 line is being sold online and in select boutiques around the country. Featuring breezy and draped jersey frocks in mainly solids that look simple, clean and very easy to wear from day to night, her aesthetic is definitely fits that of SoCal fashion.

Being that her repertoire isn’t overly complex or interesting thus far, I wonder how much of her success isn’t simply attributed to her huge following of teeny boppers who love her show and to her close relationships with young Hollywood.

Regardless, I’m definitely curious to see what her collection for Fashion Week will look like… hopefully she proves that she’s got true talent to back up the hype (unlike her once BFF Heidi Montag and her lackluster music career).

Gee, this is just one of those ideas I really wish i’d thought of! Jessica Kagan Cushman has brought out a range of bangles each with a slogan such as ‘You’re not the boss of me’ and ‘Does this bracelet make me look fat’. I love them! Keeping in mind the sheer magnitude of success enjoyed by the producers of slogan tees this looks like it could be a real winner. As soon as one of these unusual bangles appears on a young Hollywood celeb (which, I have no doubt, it will) then these will fly off the shelves. Unique concept huh? I wonder how long it will take for the likes of Forever 21 to produce a knock-off. What do you think?

During an appearance to promote her new gig as host of Canada’s version of Project Runway earlier this week, supermodel Iman weighed in on the self-destructive path of young Hollywood. “I have to say, I did my fair share of Studio 54 in my day,” the makeup guru said. “But by the grace of God, I have always known when to leave the party. They are very young, these girls…they treat rehab like it’s a spa, they go in and out, but at the end of the day I keep asking myself the same question over and over: ‘Where are the adults for these kids?’” Iman heeds her own advice and tries to only take on projects that keep her close to her children and husband David Bowie. “So when they approached me to do Project Runway Canada, a couple of things aligned themselves perfectly,” Mrs. Bowie said. “First of all, it’s in June so school is out so the little one is going to come with me. And it’s in Toronto, so it’s not that far from New York and I’m able to go back and forth easily.” The show, which will air this fall, will see twelve Canadian designers compete for $100,000 to start their own fashion line, as well as the chance to show their work at a premiere fashion event. “It’s a really good opportunity to be on a show that’s in a genre that’s not salacious – I’m not keen on salacious television,” Iman says. “I really do like the format of Project Runway USA because it really is about finding talent and nurturing talent. There’s no meanness. The critiques are constructive and the judges are designers and really know what they’re talking about.”

Lindsay Lohan’s new boy toy, Calum Best, is real winner. Not only is a womanizer, but sources say he has a coke problem himself. According to The Sun , Calum was recently filmed snorting loads of cocaine and having sex with two hookers.

The video was taken shortly after his Bahamas vacay with Blohan.

The footage shows Calum doing several lines on a glass table on also on the hooker’s body. He lets them both suck him off while he tells them to do another line.

Obviously this was a set up too, with the low quality pics and positioning of the camera. Young Hollywood is all doped up and regular people (the hookers) are ready to cash in by taking pictures and selling them.

Its been one dramatic Memorial Day weekend for ‘Young Hollywood’. Actress Mischa Barton is the latest star to cause some buzz after being rushed to the hospital. It seems that Mischa had a bad reaction to the medication she was on.

According to reports, Mischa was chilling at a friends BBQ party and sipping on some cocktails, when she began to feel extremely ill. Don’t people ever read directions? When you’re on antibiotics, it’s always safer to stay away from the booze.

The actress had been sick with a bad case of bronchitis after traveling from London, Paris to Cannes. Mischa was quickly rushed to a medical facility where she was treated. Her rep revealed to TMZ that the starlet is with her family and “feeling much better”.

I have also heard that she took to many mushrooms and freaked out, which I think is a more likely story.

Sarah Jessica Parker took a dig at fellow celebrity designer Gwen Stefani while promoting her new fashion line, Bitten. Parker described Stefani’s work as “much more avante-garde, definitely high fashion” to Glamour mag and added, “I don’t want to do that for women, because that’s not their lives… You’re going to be able to buy $200 worth of clothes, leave that store with six bags and be able to pay your utilities and take your kids someplace special for their birthday.” Parker has been open about growing up in a poor family, and tells the mag, “I got all of my oldest sister’s hand-me-downs. And by the time I inherited them, they were really out of fashion.” Parker also took a swipe at young Hollywood starlets: “Look how celebrities are acting these days,” she said. “People are getting attention for doing nothing, for behaving poorly, for abusing themselves in public and being abused, exploiting themselves. Katharine McPhee took Exciting New Vocalist honor by “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson. Ludacris received Today’s Superstar award from Hilary Duff . Katherine Heigl won the coveted Superstar of Tomorrow title, given to her by her Grey’s co-star and GBFF T.R. Knight.

Stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe has been tapped by movie moguls Bob and Harvey Weinstein to be creative consultant for Halston. The Weinsteins are expanding their empire to include fashion with the recent purchase of the iconic 70s label. As the go-to stylist for the young Hollywood set, Zoe has famously dressed Nicole Richie, Keira Knightley, Lindsay Lohan and Mischa Barton and in the process managed to accumulate a few nasty tabloid tales. Often portrayed as a controlling influence who pushed drugs to keep her clients skinny, Zoe told the New York Times, “I’ve never touched a drug in my life. Until recently, I didn’t even know what crystal meth was. And I haven’t known the name of a diet drug since Dexatrim in the 80s. The only person I’ve told to lose weight is my mom.” Zoe will be joined on the Halston advisory board by Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon.

Anait Bian is a fashion sleeper. Who knew that such stunning smart wear would come alive during four o’clock high tea at The Plaza Athenee in Manhattan yesterday afternoon? The clothing from her Fall 2007 ready-to-wear collection was structured to flatter the curves of a female body and the styling was reminiscent of the 40s. All of the pieces had a retro flair mixed with modern beading and monochromatic chicness.

Everything was done in a solid color, namely black, grey and muted emerald green with a burst of rust and teal in the last two pieces. The collection was reserved and glamorous, which I love, but the one area that ruined it for me were the jutting shoulder pads on the tailored suits.

Some of the highlights were a modern black catsuit with a velvet tassel hanging from the neck and the perfect velvet and wool little black cocktail dress that would be fitting for any semi-formal winter event. The finale and hit of the show was a teal mini shift dress with flowing organza sleeves, a bubble bottom and a jewel collar. I can already imagine the demands from young Hollywood party girls for this spectacular show stopper.

The price point of the clothing is still undetermined, as is the date of arrivals in select stores. But be on the look out for Anait Bian! To see a few more images from the show,

For the past year, Nicole Richie has looked like she just punched up out of a grave. Now she has a double chin and is swiping at that McDonald’s bag like a cat chasing a laser pointer. She’s clearly gained weight since last week. Gee, I wonder how that happened! I guess it’s just good genes!
