The slick black handbag with gold hardware looks great with Drew’s black and white sundress, and it’s nice to see her come out of her hippie-chick shell a bit. In case you haven’t noticed, this flat tote is one of the summer’s most celeb-favored purses.

Cute bag alert! One of my favorite actresses, Maggie Gyllenhaal, was spotted rifling through this stylish black leather handbag while out and about in NYC. Looks like the bag has smooth, supple leather; metal feet, gold rings and studs; side buckles; and a front pouch framed by two zippers. As Maggie shows, it’s a handy and versatile everyday handbag - hip but unassuming. Any guesses on the brand?
