Fairuza was fierce! I loved that witch movie with her.

I can honestly say that I don’t know some of these actors/actresses.

How very decadent and hot. I’m happy to report that after an encounter with drugs, Wes Bentley is back on track.

No one can deny that Marilyn was one of the sexiest stars of her time, and still is today. She has such natural beauty, and such glamor! She had an amazing, down to earth personality too, and her film catalogue demonstrates a perfect sense of humor…I’d have loved to have known her! If you haven’t already, make sure you watch Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, How to Marry a Millionaire and The Seven Year Itch. They are so funny!

2. Sandra Bullock

Miss Congeniality is a brilliant film, and formed the perfect place for Sandra Bullock to show off her good looks, sense of humour and learn some action moves! It’s no wonder her career took off after that not to mention her recent Oscar victory for Best Actress. Woot!

Julia Roberts is one of those women who it would be so easy to hate…with her gorgeous looks its easy enough to dislike her, but she’s a super talented actress too, and My Best Friend’s Wedding had me laughing until I cried. Also, the fact that she appeared in one of my most favorite romantic movies, Notting Hill gives her a special spot on this list.

1. Diane Kruger

Pretty in Chanel. You know what I find lovely? The ribbon that ties the halter upper bodice to the neck. Very sexy. I love her neutral makeup, too. She went all out, didn’t she?

2. Meryl Streep

Very un-fussy and very Meryl, right? She is aging ever so gracefully. The dress was designed by Chris March, a former Project  Runway contestant.

3. Cameron Diaz

This Oscar de la Renta is giving me all kinds of deja vu. I’m pretty sure I have dreamt my wedding dress to be exactly like this!

4. Miley Cyrus

This girl should read some of our posts here in order to improve her posture. But awkward posing aside, I think this Jenny Packham dress is lovely. The top is HOT while the bottom is very princess-y.

5. Kate Winslet

This lovely woman always looks gorgeous in gowns with sleek lines. She wore YSL.

6. Sandra Bullock

I loved Sandra’s Best Actress award speech. This Marchesa dress is something else as well.

7. Jennifer Lopez

She wore Armani Prive. It was a bit awkward since Amanda Seyfried wore a similar gown. They should have had photos taken together, no?

8. Demi Moore

What a romantic look. This would have looked extra stunning in jewel tones but this color works we well.

9. Anna Kendrick

I see images of a modern Swan Princess. Her red carpet look was lovely but this one brings on the fun fit for an Oscars after party.

I still don’t know how I feel about this haute couture dress. Do you guys like it?

Amanda in Armani Prive, in my opinion, looked better than Jennifer Lopez. Love the hair and the stacked bangles, too.

This girl has come a long way. It’s amazing how she has transformed from one fashionably awkward rock star’s daughter to an edgy fashionista.

I was going to say that this looks like a wedding dress but then I realized that no priest will allow a bride to wear a neckline that low.

Now that Mariah is a grandmother to the cutest puppy, perhaps Christmas Eve with this young family may not be so bad, right? 1. Make a Budget …

Know how much money you have to make your dream day perfect. Also know where the money is coming from. Are mom and dad helping or are the two of you responsible for everything? We planned for a long engagement because we knew how much money we needed to save for the big details like the reception hall and the wedding dress.

 Ask your spouse important questions like who to invite and what type of wedding you are having…i.e. traditional, low-key, extravagant, destination, etc. Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor and what colors will be incorporated? We have decided to have an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception with 75 of our closest friends and family members. We will be having a spring time wedding with colors of teal and white.

3. Start to plan early …

Book vendors that you truly want to have for your wedding. The longer you wait, the bigger chance you have of not getting the reception hall you want, or the florist who designs your favorite bouquets. We looked around and searched online for reception vendors that would also hold ceremonies and found the perfect location. We set up a meeting and were ready to book within a week; which was almost a year and a half from our wedding date.

4. Brides: Do shop around …

 
Try on more than one dress and if the first dress you tried is “the one” then try it on again after you have tried on others. Also search online for ideas before you go to the bridal shop. I have searched online for ideas of what might suit me, but I haven’t completely shut out the ones I don’t consider my favorites. I am looking forward to trying on many different shapes and designs. This coming May I will let you know how I made out!

5. Grooms: Do give your input …

Help your bride out with details about the wedding that you might be interested in. Maybe you would like to pick out the DJ or the food. Trust me, she will appreciate your input and know that it’s as important to you as it is to her. My fiancé has given me great ideas of what he likes and doesn’t like. He also gives me his opinion on details that I have shown him. At first we were thinking of going with tiffany blue instead of teal, but when we both started to see the tiffany blue everywhere we decided to go with a different shade of blue…but still in the blue family!

6. Grooms: Give your Groomsmen some help …

Let your groomsmen know details about where to rent a tux or if you are all going to shopping together. Maybe shop online first so you can give them a range of prices. Also let know them where you stand on bachelor parties and if you want your bestman to hold the rings for you. They need to know just as much as bridesmaids do. My fiance and I are still in the beginning stages of planning, but we both will be taking our bridal parties shopping to look for tuxes and dresses.

Ask your mother, friends, maid of honor, and of coarse even your groom for help. Stuffing 100 invitations until 3 a.m. isn’t any fun by yourself. Maria: His $$$, his laughter and his work ethic.

Maria: Be yourself, don’t be afraid of pushing the envelope and take trends into consideration, but don’t let yourself be engulfed by them. 

4. Your favorite beauty accessory? 

Maria: Lip Gloss. I go nowhere, ever without lip gloss. It’s usually the only makeup I wear, unless I’m in a mood. 

5. Your beauty or fashion advice you’d like to share? 

Maria: Your eyebrows are the most important part of your face. Of your total look. If your eyebrows are bad, no matter how pretty you are, they will subtract from your appearance tenfold. 

6. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

Maria: San Francisco. The culture, the style, the weather, the variety, the everything. I belong in San Francisco.

1. Although you should keep some things to yourself…

    Don’t go out of your way to be such a secluded couple. I think you can achieve privacy without going overboard. With my realtionship privacy is important, but we don’t write it in bold letters to our friends and family that we’re private.

  It’s not hard to be a private couple. I see some people who actually do it really well, and then I see people who make me skeptical about their deep desire to be so private,” Parker told Elle magazine.

2. Find stability within your day…

    Juggling work, play, and family time can be a tough job. As for my fiance and I, we try to make a routine out of our week when we can. And we try to make sure Thursdays are set aside for each other after we get home from work.

 I try to be home to tuck him in at least four nights a week, and if I’m not, he’s not letting me get away with anything,” Parker said about her 5 year old son James.

3. Don’t argue over the small stuff…

    Little things like taking care of the house shouldn’t get between you. Sometimes we just want to come home and relax, but then we remember that there are dishes to be put away, clothes to be folded, and towels to be picked up off the floor. If I don’t get to it then I know he will, and if he doesn’t get to it, he knows I will. Eventually it will get done, but there are more important things in any relationship than arguing over who didn’t clean the dishes.

…every Sunday night I clean the house, organize, put things away, give things away, make stacks, blah, blah, blah. He has no interest. You know what? If that’s the biggest flaw, I gotta learn to live with that,” Parker admitted.

It’s probably the combination of the great scent of “Lovely” and “Covet” as well as her reputation as a fashionista, both in and out of the small screen, which boosted the success of Sarah Jessica Parker’s perfume line. “Covet” even had a follow up for “Covet Pure Bloom”.

Just recently, Sarah Jessica Parker announced that she will be adding three more scents to her line of perfumes. It’ll be the upcoming Lovely Collection – and they’re set to hit the stores early next year.

The scents under the new line of SJP fragrances include Dawn, Endless and Twilight. According to People, here’s what Sarah had to say about the launching-all-at-the-same-time of her new scents:

I wanted to offer a little glimpse into my world, something that was genuine and relatable — very specific moments, treasures of time,” she says. “The concept of moments lent itself to multiple fragrances.”

I did love the scent of “Lovely” – so I’ll surely check out any of those three fragrances that my fave actress playing Carrie Bradshaw – or even an all new fashionable character – will launch next year!
