Long-term stress is definitely not good for you but in short bursts – say standing up to give a speech at a wedding – stress can help reinforce your immune system.

Yeah right, if short-term stress can help reinforce my immune system, I probably should be flying more so that I won’t feel anxiety when the plane takes off. But maybe I’ll get to meet a sexy guy like Sayid when the Oceanic Flight 815 that I’m in crashes in Temptation Island.

4. Ice Cream

Ice cream is my official breakup and PMS’ing food. So what are the negative effects of too much ice cream on your diet? Well, who cares, right? =)

5. White Bread

White bread is actually a poor option as compared to whole, wheat bread. In fact, you should think twice before ordering your next sandwich on white bread because you are putting yourself at risk for diabetes – it’s the sugar and the white flour content that’s the culprit.

The next song where we’ll get to see Rihanna smoke up the small screen is with hottie Justin Timberlake. Rihanna got Jessica Biel’s squeeze to appear in her latest video “Rehab” – and no, it’s not a different version of Amy Winehouse’s song – it’s an entirely different single.

“Rehab” is the eighth single off Rihanna’s album “Good Girl Gone Bad”.

The video was shot at the Vazquez Rocks Park in Los Angeles – and I bet that Jessica and Chris Brown will be squirming in their seats when they first see the smokin’ hot scenes on Rihanna’s latest video.

According to reports, Kirsten was seen smoking her cancerous cigs outside the Bowery Hotel just to see Emile. Interestingly, just two days later, she was seen all over Justin trying to kiss him. What is up with you, girl?! Are you really that desperate?!

Kirsten, are you sure you really need a new guy? Because by the looks of things, you need a DOCTOR!

The campaign is scheduled to run in autumn, and will run simultaneously with the fragrance launch. On working with Mendes, President and Chief Operating officer of Calvin Klein, Tom Murray said,

Now that Lindsay has checked out of her extended stay at the rehab facilities, she’s working hard to get her career back on track. After her much talked about Marilyn pictorial, Lindsay’s putting in as much face time around town as possible. And that means having pre-party dinner with her mom, Dina, at The Spotted Pig in Manhattan’s West Village. Dina, now the blonde of the duo, sported an 85th Anniversary Edition Gucci Boston bag. This bag was released Fall of 2006 to commemorate Gucci’s 85th birthday, in a variety of colors; Dina’s is the cream version. You won’t find this particular bag for retail anymore but if you did pick one up at the release, it was to the tune of about $2,400.

IT looks like rehab didn’t have much effect on Amy Winehouse, who is once again spiraling out of control. The British pop sensation spent the hours before the Brit Awards in London the other day trashing her room at the Riverbank Plaza Hotel, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage, according to The Sun. Management found spilled liquor, cigarette butts, empty Champagne bottles and underwear strewn on the floor. “The bed hadn’t been changed since she arrived, and most of the room had been used as an ashtray. There was dirty underwear everywhere, and the place smelt incredibly stale. She’d also taken down all the pictures,” a source told the paper. Winehouse’s manager could not be reached for comment.

REPS for troubled actress Kirsten Dunst insisted to Page Six last week she was “fine” when we reported she was “on the verge of a breakdown.” But we weren’t surprised to learn yesterday that the strung-out starlet has checked into the Cirque Lodge rehab in Utah. Stories of Dunst’s erratic, bizarre behavior had swirled for weeks. One friend of the pale performer told us, “She is awful with her liquor. She is always wasted at the Roosevelt or the Chateau Marmont. She runs around and hides in bushes and laughs. After she broke up with Jake [Gyllenhaal], her head kind of reeled off.” We noted last week that during Sundance, Dunst showed up to a scheduled event and “acted erratic,” prompting those close to her to say, “Kirsten is not in a good place right now.” We hope she gets the help she needs and that next time her publicists are more truthful.

ROSIE O’Donnell says she was boozing too much and has gone on the wagon. The moon-faced comic made the confession on her blog after telling one fan she’d shed pounds by giving up beer. That prompted another fan to ask, “So, Rosie, alcoholic or not? Just spit it out! Don’t go all Star Jones on us here. What led to you stopping the beer? You’ll only help someone else.” To which O’Donnell admitted: ” ‘Cause I was drinking too much, ’cause I didn’t want to any more, ’cause it is hard to lose weight when drinking, ’cause I can never have only one.”

More rehab for Amy Winehouse? Yes, yes, yes. The jazz-pop diva best known for refusing to enter drug rehab in her hit song entered a treatment facility Thursday. The announcement came just days after the 24-year-old was pictured in British tabloid The Sun inhaling fumes from a small pipe. Police are investigating.

“Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors,” Universal Music Group said in a statement. The statement also indicated Winehouse still planned to attend and perform at the Grammys, to be held Feb. 10 in Los Angeles.

“She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction,” the statement said.

Winehouse, who is nominated for six Grammy Awards for her acclaimed “Back to Black” album, seems to be as famous for her drug problems as for her music. Since the album’s U.S. release last year, she has canceled a slew of appearances amid reports of drug use.

In the album’s most popular song, “Rehab,” she references her struggles, singing: “They tried to make me go to rehab/ I said no, no, no.”

Universal said it hoped Winehouse would “come back to full health and fulfill her incredible potential with the label.”

She canceled a scheduled appearance Saturday at the NRJ music awards ceremony in France, Universal said.

Winehouse spent time in rehab in August, when she also pulled out of a series of dates in Britain, the United States and Canada. The following month she was arrested with husband Blake Fielder-Civil in Norway and fined $715 for possession of marijuana.

According to The Sun, video of Winehouse apparently using drugs was shot before she attended a court hearing to see Fielder-Civil appear on charges of assault and lying to police.

Winehouse was photographed walking outside her London home last month wearing only a bra and jeans, with no shoes, looking distressed.

What’s better than being able to afford to go shopping at trendy, high-end boutiques?

Getting paid to go shopping at those very same boutiques.

Rumors are swirling after an MSNBC gossip columnist reported that stars like Lindsay Lohan actually get paid to hit up stores like New York City’s Armani Exchange and Intermix.

“[Lohan’s] asking price began in the six-figure range before dropping to $20,000,” wrote Scoop reporter Courtney Hazlett.

Lohan’s rep denied the allegations.

“Lindsay was not paid and this is insulting,” Leslie Sloane Zelnick, Lohan’s publicist, told ABCNEWS.com. “She likes to shop; most people do.”

Armani Exchange, one of the stores Lohan is accused of shopping at in return for cash, denied the report and said that while Lohan did visit its New York City location on Black Friday, she was not compensated in any way.

Intermix was couldn’t be reached for comment.

It’s very common for celebrities to receive a fee for shopping at a particular store, said S.Tia Brown, a senior editor at InTouch Weekly. “Celebrities lend credibility to the brand and make the store a go-see place. It’s a good investment for the shop.”

It’s relatively common for a celebrity to get paid for showing up at particular clubs, said Brown, and now shopping is coming with similar incentives.

Lohan Hits the Shops

The 21-year-old starlet has recently been spotted frequenting Los Angeles shopping hot spots such as Kitson and the Grove ever since she returned from her two-month stay at ritzy Utah rehab facility Le Cirque.

Photograph after photograph by paparazzi show Lohan trying on new sunglasses, juggling multiple shopping bags and doing everything she can to avoid the flashes from the hoards of cameramen following her as she ducks into stores on L.A.’s Robertson Boulevard.

And the spending doesn’t stop there. Lohan has been caught on film eating out at some of the fanciest and most expensive Los Angeles restaurants, sometimes even eating out multiple times a day.

Lohan enrolled in rehab after she was charged with drunk driving and cocaine possession.

But Lohan certainly isn’t the first (nor the last) troubled celebrity to find comfort in her credit card.

Lisa Timmons, editor of celebrity blog Socialitelife.com, told ABCNEWS.com that Britney Spears also went on a shopping binge following her time in rehab.

“Celebrities can really go crazy indulging … because they have the money to spend,” said Timmons. “Lohan looks like she got lip injections — and cosmetic surgery is certainly one way to spend a lot of money in [L.A.]. She also has new highlights in her hair and a spray tan.”

While some may say celebrities could be doing far worse than spending their fortunes — like drinking heavily or using drugs — psychologists told ABCNEWS.com that compulsive shopping by people who have previously wrestled with addiction could be a cause for concern.

British singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse was arrested in Norway for marijuana possession and held overnight, a police official said Friday.

Winehouse, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and a third person were released at around 7:00 a.m. Friday after paying $715 in fines, Prosecutor Lars Morten Lothe said.

The trio were arrested shortly after 6 p.m. at a hotel in Bergen in southwestern Norway, where Winehouse is on a European tour, after a tip to police.

“They were found with seven grams (about 1/4-ounce)of marijuana,” Lothe said. “She’s paid the fine, so this thing is over for us now.”

Winehouse was to perform in Oslo Saturday, before heading to the Netherlands on Monday.

Winehouse made her U.S. debut this year with the acclaimed album “Back to Black,” but her celebrity has been fueled by her tabloid image as well as her talent. She’s spoken openly about her battles with drugs and her penchant for alcohol and marijuana, and her hit single “Rehab” is an autobiographical tale of her resistance to being pushed to go to rehab: “They tried to make me go to rehab, but I said no, no, no.”

Prince has asked Amy Winehouse to duet with him.

The ‘Rehab’ singer was said to be “delighted” after the pop legend invited her fly to his Minnesota home to work on the musical collaboration after Christmas.

A source said: “He is a big fan of Amy and enjoyed performing with her in London recently, he was eager for them to work together sooner rather than later. So he just gave her a call and invited her out to the US.

“Of course, Amy was delighted and jumped at the chance to work with him. You don’t turn down Prince.”

Prince has reportedly made it clear Amy’s visit will be purely a business trip and has suggested her husband Blake Fielder-Civil shouldn’t join them.

Last month, Amy made a surprise appearance at the after-show party for the final night of Prince’s 21-date residency at London’s O2 arena.

The pair thrilled the crowd when they took to the stage for a performance of Amy’s track ‘Love Is A Losing Game’.

In May, the 49-year-old superstar stated he was a “big fan” of Amy, prompting her to gush: “I’m honoured. I’m a massive fan. I’d love to work with him.”

Lindsay Lohan could play a Playboy Bunny in a new movie – if she stays sober.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star – who left rehab last week after a two-month stint for drink and drug addiction – has been offered the chance to appear in the new biopic of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

Brett Ratner, who is directing the movie, told E! Online: “She is very talented – if she is sober. She would be great as a Playboy Bunny.”

Ratner is not the only director to offer Lindsay a helping hand in getting her career back on track.

James Robinson – who branded the 21-year-old star “discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional” after they worked together on ‘Georgia Rule’ – would love to team up with her again.

He told the New York Post newspaper: “I would absolutely work with her again. I’d treat her like one of my own kids. She has all this fame and no one in her family to reel her in, no one to guide her, and one thing led to another. She is very, very talented and was never a diva on the set.”

Movie tycoon Harvey Weinstein recently gave Lindsay’s acting career a boost by saying he would be happy to hire her after she left rehab.

Weinstein – who worked with Lindsay on ‘Bobby’ – said: “Of course I would work with her again. She’s a wonderful actress. She did a great job in ‘Bobby’. Lindsay is a wonderful talent.

“I just hope that Lindsay is fine. She’s a good lady.”
