Hi girls, it’s fashion picks of the week time… Let’s take a look at what some of the Hollywood celebs had to wear at the hottest social events of the week.

First up, there’s Jessica Biel who had on a stunning silver strapless dress by Oscar dela Renta – which is straight from his Resort 2009 collection. With a body like that, Jessica definitely made some heads turn when she wore the shimmering gown at the premiere off her latest flick “Easy Virture” at the Rome Film Festival in Italy – but her hair and make up did nothing for her face!

Top 3 Best Dressed & Worst-Dressed at the Emmy’s

It’s red carpet fashion time once again! We’ve skipped out on Emmy’s fashion due to the writer’s strike held last year – but this year, all our favorite Hollywood celebs are back with a vengeance!

Bright colored gowns, designer frocks and fresh-off-the-runway pieces dominated the red carpet. Here’s what we thought are the top 3 best and worst dressed femmes at the 2008 Emmy Awards.

BEST DRESSED

1. Brooke Shields

The “Lipstick Jungle” star easily ruled the red carpet in this gorgeous, tiered Badgley Mischka gown. She kept her accessories at a minimum – and her hair and makeup’s perfect!

Perfectly Beautiful: Oscar de la Renta NY Fashion Week

Jennifer Lopez may have graced the occasion – but the highlight of the show for Oscar de la Renta’s Spring 2009 Collection is still the clothes.

Nicole Phelps of Style.com describes the collection this way:

Everything was perfectly beautiful, maybe a bit too much so.

Meanwhile, NY Fashion describes the Oscar dela Renta look as luxurious ruffles, embroidery, ostrich-feathered eveningwear, and ornate beading and embellishments like buttons and metallic threads.

Hmmm… maybe one of Hollywood’s fave designer’s did not veer away too much from his signature style. Take a look at the items from Mr. de la Renta’s collection:
