As if the Ramona could get any more bling (the hardware has always made me think of it as a total LA bag), it’s now brought to you in a delicious striped dark chocolate and metallic version. I thought someone had pulled the rug out from underneath me when I spotted this bag, as it really shows off the slouchy shape and cool details that make this bag fabulous. I know for some gals it may be a little much, but for me, it works. The bronze stripes work well with the super dark brown, and the gold hardware sets off a new level of drama with the Ramona. Retailing for a whopping $3,500 at net-a-porter, I suggest you think long and hard before plunking down the goods for this bag. Although, it IS fabulous…

Step away from the Uggs, LC! Okay, so what Lauren Conrad of “The Hills” lacks in good judgment when it comes to shoes, she more than makes up for in fabulous taste in purses. Her black Chanel Caviar quilted leather handbag has served her well, accompanying Lauren on more trips than Whitney, Audrina, and Lo combined. If you do the math, a timeless designer bag like this is actually a smart and affordable buy – wear it every day like LC seems to, and it’s costing you just a few dollars a day to look impeccable and chic. At least that’s what I’ll be telling my accountant.

While nothing will top the cuteness factor of seeing Angelina Jolie and Zahara with mommy-and-me Valentino Histoire purses, this photo of her with son Maddox and yet another glam cream handbag gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling too. I’m having trouble placing the designer, though – can you guys help? Looks like the off-white leather handbag has silver hardware and bow-shaped details on the straps. Either way, it’s hopelessly chic and a nice complement to mama Angelina’s black dress.

Because of its glaring steel plate front, this Prada Glace Zippers Bowler may be a Prada purse that only a Pittsburgh native could love. This handbag is a weird hodgepodge of classic, tasteful design (that smooth glace leather, available in black and gray) and funky, futuristic details like the steel, zippers, and padlocks. I just don’t think that all of these gleaming do-dahs belong on the same bag.
