If you’ve ever walked on Fashion Avenue in Manhattan, around the streets numbering in the 30s, I’m sure you’ve seen the stores. Aisles of glittering and glowing beads, glass chips, spacers, dividers, and G-d knows what other accessories and findings fill them. Some of them are expensive, some of them aren’t. But all of them are there for you to create your own dream jewelry piece.

Then again, if you make your own jewelry you may be pretty subjective when it comes to having an accurate opinion of whether or not you’re being style conscious. Beads and findings of all sizes, shapes, colors and materials can make for a serious fashion accident waiting to happen.

It’s also great quality which I think is a must for signature pieces. If it’s going to be worn daily, it must endure the ups and downs of daily life!

For the girly girl, I recommend Calico Juno Hammered Heart Hoop Earrings. These are probably my favorite earrings right now; I wear them with everything! They’re especially flattering with swept-up hairdo’s. I’m always wearing my hair in a bun and these are a quick fix to make sure I look put together. These get an A+ in my grade book.
