What a life Hugh Hefner has lead! The just-turned 82-year-old founder of Playboy magazine recently celebrated his birthday.

Instead of having a naked girl pop out of a cake – as what usually happens in bachelor’s parties – it’s the other way around. Pamela Anderson presented him with his birthday cake in the buff – wearing nothing but a pair of stiletto heels.

The clip was show at the reality show “Girls Next Door” – which gave us a peak at the seemingly jealous girlfriends (gasp!) of Hef: Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson.

I guess they couldn’t have beaten the Baywatch babe appeal of Pam even if they wanted to.

Apparently, Hugh Hefner asked Sarah to pose for Playboy magazine if she does not get elected as VP.

Hefner tells OK! magazine:

Palin would make a great centerfold. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about a really sexy-looking woman wearing glasses. Imagine what she’s like when those glasses come off. It would be a new definition of the word vice in vice president.”

Sure, Sarah Palin on the centerfold will make those mags fly off the shelf – but I don’t think that the VP candidate will agree. Hmmm – maybe she will say yes if it’s in the cover of “Deer & Deer Hunting” magazine!

The Girls Next Door star Holly Madison and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner still have babies on the brain.

“There has been lots of trying �” lots of trying!” she told Usmagazine.com at Playboy’s Ninth Annual Super Saturday Night bash in Arizona.

Hefner was tight-lipped when asked if they have plans to tie the knot.

“There will certainly be a lot of romantic years ahead, but a wedding we will see,” he told Us.

Next up for the two: Valentine’s Day.

“We are just going out to dinner,” she said. “I am trying to think of something creative, but at this point I am just going to save all of my ideas for Christmas cause Valentine’s Day came up fast.”

Playboy boss HUGH HEFNER will finally grant girlfriend HOLLY MADISON’s wish of becoming a mother – after agreeing to seek fertility treatment. Madison has regularly expressed her desire to become a mother during the couple’s reality TV show The Girls Next Door. And it seems the magazine mogul has agreed to become a father for fifth time. According to Hollywood gossip columnist Janet Charlton, the 81-year-old and Madison were spotted visiting a Beverly Hills gynaecologist who specialises in vitro fertilization.

Lindsay Lohan could play a Playboy Bunny in a new movie – if she stays sober.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star – who left rehab last week after a two-month stint for drink and drug addiction – has been offered the chance to appear in the new biopic of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner.

Brett Ratner, who is directing the movie, told E! Online: “She is very talented – if she is sober. She would be great as a Playboy Bunny.”

Ratner is not the only director to offer Lindsay a helping hand in getting her career back on track.

James Robinson – who branded the 21-year-old star “discourteous, irresponsible and unprofessional” after they worked together on ‘Georgia Rule’ – would love to team up with her again.

He told the New York Post newspaper: “I would absolutely work with her again. I’d treat her like one of my own kids. She has all this fame and no one in her family to reel her in, no one to guide her, and one thing led to another. She is very, very talented and was never a diva on the set.”

Movie tycoon Harvey Weinstein recently gave Lindsay’s acting career a boost by saying he would be happy to hire her after she left rehab.

Weinstein – who worked with Lindsay on ‘Bobby’ – said: “Of course I would work with her again. She’s a wonderful actress. She did a great job in ‘Bobby’. Lindsay is a wonderful talent.

“I just hope that Lindsay is fine. She’s a good lady.”

Troubled Hollywood actor Owen Wilson has shown for the first time the scars from his suicide bid.

The Starsky and Hutch actor, 38, showed a toned body as he took to LA’s Venice Beach with his brother Andrew, only weeks after taking an overdose of pills and slashing his wrists.

The Wedding Crashers comedian, still looked tired and dishevelled, but appeared peaceful as he larked aroud in the water.

Wilson spent a week at Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA, after he attempted suicide at his Santa Monica home on 26 August.

His former lover Kate Hudson was caught affectionately kissing and cuddling her new boyfriend Dax Shepard, also a comedian, during an outing in Los Angeles.

It’s thought the sight of the photographs that tipped Wilson, one of Hollywood’s brightest stars, over the edge.

Friends have said that he had been deeply upset since splitting with the actress, the daughter of Goldie Hawn, shortly before Christmas last year.

The couple, who met while filming You, Me And Dupree, had a six-month fling that ended Hudson’s marriage to actor Chris Robinson.

Wilson ended the relationship with Miss Hudson but friends said he had been regretting the decision since she began dating Shephard.

The cuts to his wrist were said to be superficial.

Police and an ambulance responded to an emergency call from Wilson’s house in the LA suburb of Santa Monica around noon on Sunday.

His elder brother Andrew, 43, made the call.

Witnesses said they saw the actor being wheeled out on a stretcher with bandages on his wrist.

He was taken to the St John’s Hospital in Santa Monica before being transferred to the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills.

His actor brother Luke and parents Robert and Laura were seen at the hospital, but refused to make any comment. Police, citingmedical privacy laws, refused to name the person involved in the incident.

A spokesman said only: “On Sunday August 26, 2007, at 12.10pm officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street.

“The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated.”

Wilson has recently been filming Tropic Thunder, directed by close friend Ben Stiller, with whom he starred in the 2004 comic version of the TV series Starsky And Hutch.

Last week Wilson agreed to star opposite Jennifer Aniston in Marley And Me, a drama about a man’s friendship with his dog.

Wilson said in a statement: “I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”

I guess these are for women who like to scuba dive off of Hugh Hefner’s yacht, ’cause there’s no way you’d be able to walk in heels on the beach. That said, I’m not sure you’d be able to walk in these on any surface, so it’s possible that their only purpose is to help your legs look sexier…underwater.

How great completely pointless.

They might, however, make a cute gift for your favorite ultra-girly diving enthusiast — assuming you can find them. The only mention of High Tide Heels that I’ve come across was the above photo, and my attempts at tracking down the shoes’ manufacturer on the Interwebatron have come up empty-handed. And, if this Yahoo Answers thread is any indication, no one else can find them either.

Maybe they’ll turn up, but, at least for now, it looks like you’ll have to keep scuba diving in flats. Bummer.

Hugh Hefner’s number one girlfriend Holly Madison has sparked reports she’s pregnant with the 81-year-old’s fifth child by crying off TV interviews in Monaco with a morning sickness and refusing to party with her fellow bunnies.

The pretty Oregonian, 27, created a storm of speculation at the Monte Carlo Television Festival earlier this week, where she has promoting reality TV show The Girls Next Door with Hefner’s other girlfriends Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, by missing parties and covering up.

While her blonde pals were flitting between international TV interviews and exclusive soirees, Madison chose to lie low.

She even missed Kendra’s 22nd birthday bash, which was held on the girls’ second night in the European party capital, and noticeably steered clear of alcohol – something expectant moms are advised not to touch.

But the pregnancy reports hit fever pitch when Madison sat for a string of interviews on her balcony at the Hotel du Paris – all she wanted to do was talk babies.

She was overheard telling one reporter, “I want to have kids with Hef in the next year or so and when that happens I just want it to be me and him.”

And insisting the age difference between her and Hef means nothing, she cooed, “He’s the best lover I’ve ever had.”

Meanwhile, one Monte Carlo insider says, “While the other girls hit parties wearing next to nothing and looking all glamorous, Holly stayed covered up and in the background. She even wore a jacket for many of her interviews.

“No one said anything, but her condition was on everyone’s mind – she was absent from the first two days of the festival because we were told she was sick.”

Playboy legend Hugh Hefner has been caught telling a big fat fib to one of his girlfriends – by praising the author of an Elle magazine article instead of slamming her as he promised he would.

Kendra Wilkinson was furious when she read the profile of herself, Hefner and his other girlfriends, Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison, in the June issue of Elle.

Writer Daphne Merkin focused the article on the foursome’s E! show, “The Girls Next Door.” But while the story and pictures were flattering overall, Wilkinson was hurt that she was described as “giving off a palpable air of anxiety.” Merkin also quoted Wilkinson as saying her fake breasts were “my best investment” and said the blonde referred constantly to her “slight acne.”

“I’m very insecure right now about my face,” Wilkinson told Merkin. “I get scared with Hef looking at me at the mansion and maybe thinking I’m ugly.”

Merkin also mentions Wilkinson’s “fleeting attention span,” her “dazed personality and limited vocabulary” and quotes Hefner describing Wilkinson’s “distinctly unintellectual charm” by mockingly saying, “Books? What books?”

Two weeks ago, Wilkinson went on “Larry King Live” with Hefner and the other girlfriends to discuss the E! show and said, “a magazine article that just came out . . . it hurt my feelings and it really, like, crushed my heart. And Hef being such a great guy, he said, ‘You know what, Kendra? I was going to write them a letter and say, like, how this is wrong.’ [The article] wasn’t really nice . . . People like to pick on me.”

Hefner then chimed in and said, “I think the writer really didn’t understand and didn’t really identify with [Wilkinson and Marquardt], you know?”

But that’s not what Hefner said in the letter he wrote to Merkin, Page Six has learned.

The letter said: “I just finished reading your article . . . and think it’s the best, most perceptive piece on the show to date . . . I hope you get a chance to do a longer story for the New York Times or The New Yorker.”

A rep for Hefner didn’t return e-mails.

White Trash Charms, the delightfully-named new collection for Playboy Jewelry, was recently released to the public — complete with a launch hosted by the one and only Kelly Osbourne, and guests like Hugh Hefner, The Girls Next Door, and the Hilton sisters.

As you might suspect, this is some of the tackiest jewelry on the face of the planet — most notably the Playboy Bunny pictured at right, that looks more like the mudflap of an 18-wheeler than something to wear around your neck.

That said, the overt tackiness is probably part of the charm. In fact, if worn by someone whose look would make the piece appear sufficiently ironic, I could see how the company’s logo might make for a clever necklace. Although, that’s still a stretch. Really, the only good reason for wearing jewelry like this is if you’re trying to look tasteless.

Hugh Heffner was spotted acting paternal as he tenderly patted girlfriend Holly Madison’s tummy at a May 15 party at L.A.’s Hyde Lounge. Forgoing her usual snug attire, Holly, 27, one of Hef’s three girlfriends, sported a baggy babby doll dress.

The fame-hungry half-sister of Anna Nicole Smith has hatched a bizarre plan to remake herself in the tragic model’s image.

Donna Hogan, a 40-something Texas housewife, is set to dye her hair, get her breasts surgically enhanced and then approach Hugh Hefner about becoming a Playboy centerfold – like Anna Nicole did.

“A few years ago, Playboy approached me and I almost agreed to do it. But I was too chicken. My boobs weren’t big enough,” Hogan tells Steppin’ Out’s Chaunce Hayden. “But now, if Playboy called, I would probably do it. I just had a birthday and I’m going to treat myself to new boobs. I just want to get my body to where I want it and I’ll be ready to step in and do it . . . You’ll definitely see a transformation in the next year.”

But Hogan won’t likely make her breasts as gargantuan as Anna Nicole made hers. As she revealed in her recent tell-all, “Train Wreck,” her half-sister had a “double breast enhancement” that made her so top heavy, she had to have her bras custom-made and suffered from back-pain that forced her to turn to prescription drugs.

In her interview with Hayden, the nude-model wannabe also has harsh words for Anna Nicole’s onetime boyfriend, lawyer Howard K. Stern, who originally claimed he was the father of baby Dannielynn, before a DNA test confirmed it was actually Larry Birkhead.

“He’s a creepy little weasel-looking thing. He was just Anna’s gofer, like a little girlfriend or something,” Hogan tells the magazine. “I could just slap the [bleep] out of him. I’d love to just beat the [bleep] out of him. But instead I think I’ll just torture him . . . hug and kiss on him and act like I like him, then just walk away and leave him like that, all sexually frustrated.” Stern did not return Page Six’s calls.

Hogan, who might be overestimating her sex appeal, also doubts anybody will ever see the millions Anna Nicole supposedly inherited from late husband J. Howard Marshall, adding, “I don’t even believe Anna thought she would ever see any of that money. It was just a tool she used for keeping the media interested in her.”

Is Playboy founder Hugh Hefner a style icon? His pajama wardrobes are certainly distinctive. Hef, who is still going strong at 81, tells the Daily Mail about his style routine. He reveals that he has 200 pairs of silk pajamas and his favorite outfit consists of pajamas and a custom-made smoking jacket. He wears black for business because black is serious and he also has 12 pairs of black velvet loafers, which are custom-made by Di Fabrizio in Los Angeles. For business he also own 35 custom Armani suits with custom formal shirts with cuffs. He also likes hats, especially to cover his thinning hair. He also admits to having teeth implants and a little neck tuck. For a man of his age he is pretty stylish and part of that is because he defined his signature look years ago and stays comfortably within those parameters, maintaining a balance between geriatric comfort and old-school glam.
