An old fashioned yellow highlighter is a great way to outline and focus on important information, whether its for studying or for research purposes. i-Lighter brings the concept of a highlighter to the web with a small web browser add-on that allows you to highlight stuff you find on the web and then save it and organize it in to your i-Lighter account. You can highlight text, tables and pictures, organize it all and even share it with others. Their upcoming version 2.0 software will also allow you to access all your saved information from any web enabled device. Currently i-Lighter works only with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

New from Lancome is their ultra cool Destiny Cube, $55. This little aubergine compact consists of a highlighter for your cheeks or eyes and a deep grayish shadow.

Unfortunately it’s not going to give you any clues into your destiny, however, it will ensure that you look great in the future!

The packaging design is really unique too. It’s an edgy, octagon shaped case with a round mirror inside. It is decorated with fun, mysterious words and symbols such as a question mark, a moon and a star. It actually reminds me of funky looking dice from old school board games.

Since Fashionista caught a glimpse of it at Fashion Week, I’d thought I’d give you a sneak peek too. But we are actually going to have to wait until August to purchase it online. Something to look forward to indeed!

I’m starting to think that Christina Aguilera is color blind. That’s the only explanation for why she’s always three shades more orange than every other person on the planet. It’s like self tanner and orange highlighter are the same shade of gray to her so she just goes with the orange highlighter because it’s always on sale. It’s weird, because she showed up to the Nylon celebration looking fairly decent, and then just a day later she was spotted leaving her hotel in NYC looking like this. This is exactly what a pod person pretending to be Christina Aguilera would look like. Only they’d probably do a better job of match the skin tone of humans.

The BookSling is perfect for that person that is always looking for a pen. I am constantly asking to borrow one and the way I like my pens, other people can never please me. There’s a fab new product out by Benefit, called Perfect 10. It’s a highlighter and bronzer in one.

On a night out i don’t leave the house without a bit of bronzer and highlighter, so this is a great space saving product you can take anywhere with you for those little touch up’s in the girls loo.

Highlighted dewy skin is meant to be big this season, even replacing the sun kissed look. Personally i’d like to have both as i look so much better with a bit of colour in my cheeks, but i love the highlighter for the sculpted cheekbone look.

You can buy it at any Benefit counter or online at £22.50, the pot’s quite deep so should last you a while.

Using bronzer would seem to be an easy thing to do — a simple sweep with the brush and instant summer. Why then, do things so often go so horribly wrong? The photos of people looking flagrantly Cheeto-colored or tiger striped are legion. Try to do both bronzer and highlighter and it’s all to easy to go from model to circus clown. Benefit’s Perfect 10 is bronzer and highlight in one fell swoop. You draw the wide brush across both colors and then simply sweep it from the apple of your cheek to the hairline. Instant gorgeous. The only problem I can foresee is if your brush gets dirty and the colors get muddied. It sells for $26.

The photo does not do it any amount of justice. It is exquisite. In fact, it’s my absolute favorite item from the collection and I’ve been using it every day since I acquired it.This translucent pink compact is a shimmery checkerboard of pinks and browns, and works in many lovely ways.Swirled together, it’s a great highlighter for cheekbones, or all over the face. When I’m wearing an otherwise matte face, I even use it as blush.
