50. Porky’s

This movie was lamb blasted for its sexual content and was considered to be a somewhat sexist film, but it actually dealt with a number of major social issues and still managed to be a very funny movie.

49. Encino Man

“Hey buddy,” you can’t have a list of top 50 movies without including one starring Pauly Shore. OK, so he has won several Razzie Awards for being a terrible actor. Still, he was a cultural icon during the 90s and his movies are truly legendary among Shore fans.

48. Tommy Boy

This movie didn’t receive very much critical acclaim, but has a very strong cult following. Chris Farley, who has risen to legendary status in the comedy world, stars in this film about a hard partying boy that takes an executive position in the family business.

47. Shanghai Noon

Starring Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson, this action-western comedy is a very unique film that combines just about everything you could ask for in a movie. Besides, watching kung fu in a western is something no one should miss!

46. Roxanne

This modern retelling of Cyrano de Bergerac takes a comedic approach to the romantic tale. Starring Steve Martin and Darryl Hannah, there is plenty of romance and comedy to be found in this film.

Today I want to discuss dieting because it is Labor Day and tomorrow I will have to start the hard labor of a new diet in order to take off what I put on today eating at a friend’s house. She would have to serve hot dogs, potato salad and cake. All my favorites.

Oh sure the food was great but was it worth it? In the coming days I will eat enough chicken to start my own farm, drink enough water to float a battleship, and munch on more greens and veggies than Bugs Bunny.

Included in my new routine will also be so much walking my feet will rebel, swell, and refuse to to fit into my sexy new red heels. So much so that by Friday night I will have a major dilemma on my hands, wear the sexy new heels and suffer in severe pain all night or try to ease into a more comfy low sling back heel.

Hum.. if by Friday night I have not lost fifteen pounds I will buy a black A-line dress, wear the sexy red heels and hope he takes me some place where we can sit all night.

While both their hubbies were working, Eva Longoria Parker met up with celebrity pal Victoria Beckham for a little retail therapy on Friday. The two ladies were photographed walking down Rodeo Drive by the paparazzi and the hordes of people with cell phone cameras who just happened to there. Victoria was dressed impeccably of course, but Eva opted to go the casual route, with dark denim, a crisp white shirt and a Valentino Fleur purse. Eva’s bag is done in a patterned fabric (looks chenille, doesn’t it?) and accented with black patent leather rosettes — the ‘fleur’ in the name. I happen to think the Valentino handbag is a bit stodgy, a little retro without the cool. But the two ladies looked lovely nevertheless.
