According to the Daily Mail UK, McQueen was found in his London home. He was only 40 years old. This is a sad day in the world of fashion and art. Some of his designs may not have been everyone’s cup of tea but he was undeniably creative, innovative, and revolutionary. I thought it would be a fitting tribute to find fabulous celebrities wearing some of his wonderful pieces.

RIP Alexander McQueen.

So, if you are just as lucky as her, go to your stylist and ask for any cut you want… you’ll look gorgeous no matter what! Did I mention my friend can pull off ANY shape of sun glasses too? What can I say, having an oval face shape is like winning genetic lottery – you’ll be destined to look fab!

2. Face Shape: Round

Flattering cuts: Anything face framing. Bangs and layers will slim the face. Choose a length that’s longer than your chin to make your face look slim and full

My mum has a round face, and always looks amazing when she’s had her hair done. I love the way layers and fluffy bangs frame her face, and she looks amazing with her hair tied up, too! She has the cutest oblong sunglasses, too, which give her face more definition. I’m definitely jealous of how well she manages to carry off any length layers.

She might look a little grumpy but as far as I can see, she has lovely skin! Not bad at all without makeup. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m comparing this look to her Ugly Betty look :)

4. Amy Whinehouse

Omg! Alien hair-do…puffy eyes….pale skin… Amy looks like a total disaster without her makeup. Then again, I’m not too fond of her even with the makeup on. Maybe, she wouldn’t look so bad if she gave up the excessive alcohol and drugs…

5. Anna Kournikova

I have no complaints about how Anna looks without makeup….atleast in this picture.

2. Our Heroes are back to save us…

Monday night on February 2nd our favorite good guys Peter Petrelli, Hiro Nakamura, Ando Masahashi, Matt Parkman, Mohinder Suresh and good girls Claire Bennet, Daphne Millbrook, and Niki Sanders were back on NBC fighting to save the world. Of coarse the bad guys and girls like Nathan Petrelli, Angela Petrelli, Noah Bennet and Sylar were there to destroy it. Although the episode ended with a “to be continued…” suspense, it left us wondering how far NBC will take the good vs. evil concept. Who is your favorite Hero?

3. Groundhog Day…

 The movie starring Bill Murray and Andie MacDowell is a love for some of us as well. However,  I’m talking about the day Punxsutawney Phil comes out to forecast how the rest of our winter from February 2nd until March 20th will be. If Phil sees his shadow that means six more weeks of heavy winter coats and hot coffee or tea. However, if he doesn’t see his shadow he’s letting us know that it’s time to put on those cute Spring tops! This year little Phil did see his shadow, which means more snow could be on it’s way. How will that affect the rest of your winter?

4. He’s Just Not That Into You…

 

With a big cast of star actors and actresses, the February 6th release of He’s Just Not That Into You might be the most anticipated romantic comedy of the year. The cult following all started with Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo’s book of the same name. Now Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Ginnifer Goodwin, Scarlett Johansson, and Jennifer Connelly will show us just how not into them Ben Affleck, Justin Long, Kevin Connolly, and Bradley Cooper are. Do you have a guy that’s just not that into you?

5. St. Valentine’s Day…

What’s not to love about Valentine’s Day, even if you are single? This day of love can be fun for everyone married, engaged, dating, single, young, and old. And if you are married or engaged don’t forget about your single friends. Send them a nice card or take them out to the movies. For all the single gals and guys don’t think that this day is just about having a date…remember all the love that you do have in your life. For moms and dads, put together some fun crafts with the kids like a scrapbook of all the reasons why you love them with funny pictures of the family on each page. For all those couples out there just make sure your significant other knows all the reasons why you are lucky to have them in your life. St. Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about the money spent on a fancy dinner or a dozen roses. What will you be doing on February 14th? Will theses two consider a reunion of sorts and star in a sequel for “The Breakup”? According to Lepaparazzi:

A source said: “Both Jennifer and Vince have been offered the chance to star in the sequel. As Jennifer is now such a huge star, she has been offered $20 million to do the film, while Vince has been offered less.”

“Both of them are seriously considering it.”

Will the movie take up where the characters in the movie took of? There, Brooke and Gary accidentally met again and the two promised to meet up in the future.

Rather than taking up where the film left off – I’d rather have them make another movie from scratch – with an entirely different script. But that’s just me.

When you place the old and new ads side by side, Drew clearly has the edge when it comes to the ’sensual’ factor – probably because her eyes are a lot more sultry than Claire’s.

Anyway, for me, Claire still did a fine job. After, she’s only the second celebrity face to have the honor of representing the fab jewelry line of Gucci. Way to go, girl!

One of the best Adam Sandler movies that I’ve ever seen, “The Wedding Singer” follows the love story between Robbie Hart and Julia played by Drew Barrymore. Robbie’s fiance’ left him at the altar and he’s – what else? – a wedding singer who happens to meet bubbly Julia at a wedding event where he breaks down. Check out the funny, touching, musical ending in this 80’s themed romantic comedy – you’ll even see Billy Idol in a cameo.

The entire collection is 100% fierce with a capital F! Frida Giannini and the entire Gucci team have recently revealed the Gucci Resort 2009 collection and there is nothing else you can say except that all the pieces are marvelous and definitely trend setting! The 70’s inspired collection had mostly white, caramel, burnt orange, chocolate brown and blue hues. Bellisimo! (I seriously screamed with glee when I saw the collection!)

The collection had two themes: a hippie/gypsy-esque theme plus a nautical theme. Even if you’re not hitting the seas anytime soon, you will definitely not hesitate to don these winning outfits.

You have the choice of either striped or flared pants. For true blue hippies or hippie wannabes, on the other hand, you can choose among the pretty gypsy prints and flowing, feminine maxi dresses (which, by the way, are really popular these days).
