In Hollywood, relationships are put under pressure when you’re in constant view of the public eye. It can also be difficult when celebrities are continuously away from each other because of the job. Drew Barrymore hardly ever plays in period films – but she fits the role perfectly despite her bubbly personality. In “Ever After”, the winsome actress plays the feisty Danielle who falls in love with Prince Henry, played by Dougray Scott – in a modern, funny and touching twist to the tale of Cinderella.
One of the best Adam Sandler movies that I’ve ever seen, “The Wedding Singer” follows the love story between Robbie Hart and Julia played by Drew Barrymore. Robbie’s fiance’ left him at the altar and he’s – what else? – a wedding singer who happens to meet bubbly Julia at a wedding event where he breaks down. Check out the funny, touching, musical ending in this 80’s themed romantic comedy – you’ll even see Billy Idol in a cameo.
This is a really sweet story about a girl, played by Drew Barrymore, who has never been kissed. She meets a guy, Michael Vartan and falls in love with him but the story is complicated. This is a movie that will make you smile and feel with the characters. It’s a terrific love story.
