Two Terrible Black Dresses, Two Different Places
Exhibit A, Judith Godreche:
I went to fashion school, and I can tell you right away that this is a freshman-year disaster. Appliques? Puh-lease. And, to make it even worse, this women is French–Parisian, no less.
And then there’s Exhibit B, a disaster even closer to home. I present to you: Maria Menounos!
Was the intention to exclude any hint of waist? If so, nice job, Maria. Otherwise, I think you might have missed the mark.

You’ve definitely got to find the right dress. Look for one with a v-neck to flatter your bust! I love this one from Issa because it has great belt potential. Okay, it’s $550.00, but I think it’s worth it.

Chloe Sevigny’s Legs Steal the Show
Really, they did. I am a notorious hater of her style and someone who never really “gets” her look. She’s so deep into vintage that all I want to do is dig her out of it and rescue her with a transfusion of Current Trend.
But here, she’s solving all my problems with her wardrobe with seriously shapely legs. I mean, if you’re going to dress controversially on a regularly basis, you should make up for it with way-hot legs, right?

Britney, Overexposed? No Way.
Britney Spears led the way in the last Encino study, which proclaimed her the most overexposed celeb by 72%. I guess this post isn’t helping the whole situation, but it’s a lost cause anyway, right?
From a fashionista’s perspective, I have to say that her wardrobe choice warrants a lot of extra attention. WHAT is going on with the towel, may I ask? Why is it fashioned into a bib? She’s pitifully clueless.

So Many Nightmare Metallic Dresses, So Little Time
Ka-ching! Here’s two terrible, terrible metallic dresses. One was worn on Coney Island (Jessica), the other in Italy (Beyonce), but they’re both supremely unflattering.
I’m actually surprised that Jess even let this photo slip out. It’s hanging like a baggy gold sack, obscuring those curves that she loves to flaunt. Her hair looks as sad as the dress, and that’s just disappointing, because the whole thing could be giving off such a great ’20s flapper vibe.
And then there’s Beyonce. Her dress isn’t shapeless, but it’s equally as unflattering. It’s strangling her curves. In this case, even if it did fit properly, it would still be hideous.

Lindsay Heads to Letterman in Weirdest. Dress. Ever.
You’ve got to share your opinion on this dress that Lindsay wore around New York. I’m on the fence about this one. While the bodice has the oddest shape I’ve ever seen, I love those funny piped pockets. It would make a fantastic pencil skirt, and the back isn’t bad at all.
But a long face doesn’t help. Does Lindsay look like she needs to put on her sunglasses in the first photo, or is she ticked at something? She looked pretty angry at the Nylon party she hosted, too. I wonder what’s going on.
