What we say: Who knew this part of your pucker even had a name? Considering more of us want to enhance the shape of our lips a la Betty Boop, this is great way to create some fullness without looking fake. Aston suggests sculpting the edges of your lips (paying close attention to the “v” in your upper lip), with a pinkish liner (check out e.l.f. Feather Proof Moisturizing Lip Liner in Natural Blush for $1) and fill in those smackers with a pinkish beige lipstick. For a subtle glisten, finish with a shimmery gloss. Ready or not, here Halloween comes! My costume is almost complete �” I’m still on the hunt for pink gloves and a wooden finger �” who can guess who I’m going to be?! I thought it would be fun to share costumes of Halloween past in the Look Book. I have uploaded some of my faves over the years for you to chuckle at. There’s Fab Barbarella on the left, a trio of sassy sailor girls in the middle, and none other than Betty Boop far right. I usually sex it up on Halloween but this year I’m going for a cooler, more demure character. Salvador Sapena loves a peep toe pump, and luckily so do we! They may be a bit costumy with all the polka dot leather trim and their Betty Boop shape, but everyone needs a few pairs of over-the-top heels in their closet. They also come in red, and both styles would look really sweet with this season’s white dresses. Careful getting caught in spring showers, though, these US$380 babies are water-shy suede.

I popped over to Rimistyle to check out their online spring sale and fell for this red polka dot bag… and it isn’t even in the sale. Typical! Mind you, at US$48 and a fantastic exchange rate I really don’t mind paying full price for this Betty Boop style bag.
