Drew sported some seriously shiny hair at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, where she announced her involvement with CoverGirl. While I am on the fence about her yellow dress (Caroline Herrerra) and green shoes, she did have some fabulous things to say about revitalizing CoverGirl campaigns:
” ‘What I want to do is honour the tradition of CoverGirl but hopefully bring myself and my personality into it, as well as some edgy fashion-forward thinking and positivity to it. I like to be involved in every aspect. I’m a control freak but I keep those issues at bay when I work with other people.’ “

Word has it that Jenna Jameson, yes the Jenna Jameson, has been having a lot of problems lately. Not only did she have that rumored botched vaginoplasty, but she is getting divorced, has lost a ton of weight, and is now even letting her loyal fans down.
At the Miami Exxxotica Convention last week, she wouldn’t answer questions about her weight, refused interviews with the Miami Herald and CNN, and even broke contractual agreements, according to a source, who said that “She was […] supposed to show up for a total of six hours in two days yet arrived late both days and blew off the event 45 minutes early on the second day of her appearance.”
I may not care about Jenna Jameson, but I care about any celeb who ends up looking like beef jerky. C’mon, no man is worth looking like that.

Grandmother-ish, refined, or a mix of the two? I was certainly surprised at Beyonce’s choice of dress when I saw the pics from her arrival in Japan. Beyonce looks polished and sweet, especially with that surprisingly mature handbag. So am I crazy or does she look. . . so not like herself?

At least, not with the in-laws. The father of Arun Nayer, Hurley’s husband, told the Sunday Mirror that he was “humiliated”at their wedding when his family was “pushed into the background like poor relations.”
Nayer’s father, Vinod, continued:
“’I have decided to cut all ties with my sons…I feel that Liz and Arun behaved shamefully and placed more importance on showing off than their own family.’ He said that he had not spoken to his son since the wedding and had sent him a letter accusing him of having ‘disregarded me like one of your office boys.’”
Um, ouch. Is the Sunday Mirror really the place to announce this? Just asking.

I hope Alicia Witt resuscitates her career so we can get a few more redheads in Hollywood. She’ll need to look a little more alive at her (hopefully) upcoming auditions, but I’d like to see her in a few films if possible: with the likes of Laura Prepon and Lindsay Lohan still going blond, lovely redheads are harder to find than ever.

To be honest, this news about Lauren on The Hills was about as tired as it gets. Another sex tape scandal? I think we’ve had enough of those to last us awhile. While she’s looking very sweet here at the Environmental Media Association and E! Entertainment Television Tree Planting Event in LA, apparently we’re due to see a whole lot more of her soon. Rumors are circulating that she was desperately trying to get the sex tape back from ex Jason Whaler:
“Lauren tried to break into Jason’s apartment to get the tape,” says a mutual friend of the pair. “She was practically stalking him and calling non-stop until he finally agreed to give her the video.”
I guess Jason kept a copy for old times sake.

Who knew the Hollywood Starlet known for her physical beauty from such films as The Truth About Cats and Dogs wasn’t perfect? Oh honey, this kind of shock to the public is not good for you. This publicity, well it might just be the one piece of tabloid fodder to break the golden rule: it’s b.a.d.
