One of the best Adam Sandler movies that I’ve ever seen, “The Wedding Singer” follows the love story between Robbie Hart and Julia played by Drew Barrymore. Robbie’s fiance’ left him at the altar and he’s – what else? – a wedding singer who happens to meet bubbly Julia at a wedding event where he breaks down. Check out the funny, touching, musical ending in this 80’s themed romantic comedy – you’ll even see Billy Idol in a cameo.

Drew Barrymore is the girl who suffers from memory loss, and Adam Sandler is the playboy who falls in love with her. A sweet and funny story that shows us that true love is really worth fighting for.

Adam Sandler’s latest starrer entitled “You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” is getting mixed reviews. According to New York Times’ A.O. Scott – the movie is “The finest post-Zionist action-hairdressing sex comedy I have ever seen.”
On the other hand, Brian Lowry from Variety.com said that “Zohan is too silly to justify genuine anger. The more pressing thought as the movie drags on, rather, is an amended version of (Michael) Buffer’s signature boxing bellow, as in, “Let’s get ready to exit!”
On its first opening week, the movie already earned $38.5 million and landed the second spot in the box office charts, next to the animated movie “Kung Fu Panda”.
I guess loyal Adam Sandler fans like me did manage to find something good to watch about the movie – despite the mixed reviews. Check out the movie for yourself and see if you will find excellent – or crude humor – in Adam’s take on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“You Don’t Mess with the Zohan” also stars John Turturo, Rob Schnieder, Emmanuelle Chiriqui, Nick Swardson and Lainie Kazan.

Athletic actress Jessica Biel can be seen from these still shots stripping down to her lingerie for a scene in the upcoming film I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. The film stars Kevin James and Adam Sandler who are two straight, single Brooklyn firefighters (Sandler, James) pretend to be a gay couple in order to receive domestic partner benefits. It’s all premieres and award shows at the moment: last night’s big premiere was God Grew Tired of Us, a documentary about three Sudanese refugees in the United States, at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt put in an appearance as did the film’s narrator Nicole Kidman.
