I have to say that I’ll giggle a little if Paris actually ends up in jail. She ended up with probation after pleading to alcohol-related reckless driving in February, but things have started to cook up regarding her suspended license. A city official was quoted saying:
“We have sufficient evidence to prove that Hilton had knowledge of the suspension, and yet continued to drive.”
I wonder how this will turn out. Why didn’t she just get a driver?!

What is wrong with Christina Aguilera? I don’t get her. There’s just so much to say and ponder, so we’ll mostly focus this post on fashion and particularly Xtina’s choice of recent footwear (with a little extra tidbits in the following photo).
Here Christina is last week, first in stripper-heighted platform heels, then cute frilly pink pumps a la a mixture of Steve Madden and Nanette Lepore (I’m thinking they might be Irregular Choice though?).
It’s not like Christina has a split personality in the rest of her fashion, but she does in real life, it seems. I mean the girl looks like trash, with bleached-to-a-crisp hair and clown makeup; see-through dresses (see below photo gallery), etc. But then she has a great mind, a seemingly sweet and normal husband (what does he see in her?) and the best vocal talent of a generation!
Maybe her look shouldn’t necessarily be something to disrespect? It’s just a look and Aguilera proves herself elsewhere? But she does, and doesn’t need the attention right? Apparently that’s not beneath her though. Does it matter?
To me it does, that’s why I blog pointing out celeb fashion mistakes, duh. But really, there’s nothing wrong with hoping for class in a true idol’s appearance. Oh, but what can be done, we’ll just wonder — who Christina Aguilera really is.

Chris Sligh won’t be returning to compete on American Idol after his Tuesday night performance deemed, "a train wreck" by even Randy (Paula seemed out of it and too gently kind from the moments I saw of the ep though).
It’s too bad Chris won’t be "bringing chubby back" as was his adopted Idol slogan.
I didn’t see his performance, but I did see the last song and closing as they went late into House’s time slot. I even ended up voting, too.
I based my call-in on the farewell clips, and I did not vote for Sligh.

I’ve been seeing more and more turbans around this season, and I’m not sure that they’re working for anyone. I mean, Rachel Roy is a fabulous celeb designer and socialite and even she looked slightly odd at a Met event this week. Do you think anyone can rock the turban look, or should this trend just go away?

I don’t know why exactly, but I could care less what Johnny Depp wears. I think he is sexy no matter what. Case in point: here he is on the set of Sweeney Todd wearing tight, high-waisted trousers and a waistcoat. Even the odd shock of white hair is mildly appealing. Rowr.

It seems Naomi Campbell took her community service sentence really seriously. Yeah, it was a real serious photo opp. Let’s see if she gets new modeling gigs or just more seriously expensive free designer swag. *Gag*

Ralph Lauren coat, Louboutin boots, Chanel cap and – oh! – lugging work boots. (And of course, a smile!)
Day Two:
Fur jacket, fedora, wedges, big satchel and Alexander McQueen sunglasses.
Day Three:
In a reaaaaally adorable Burberry leather jacket.
Day Four:
Gaudy fur, purple tie blouse and Marc by Marc Jacobs boots.
Day Five:
O.m.g.

That is so ridiculous. Campbell is a joke. She hasn’t learned or grown from this experience! Naomi, grow a heart.

Rachel was out with the cutest dog with a doubly cute name, Thurmen Mermen, and her little sister Hattie. Lunching in L.A. looks so relaxed when you bring the ultimate furry accessory. I love that Thurmen wants to be a part of the action. “Rowrf?” Hee.

Wow, Bridget Moynahan is 5 months along, and she isn’t using the pregnancy as a perfect opportunity to let herself go (which is kind of what I would do). How is it possible that her stomach still looks trim? I’m baffled, and apparently Martha Stewart was, too. She asked her studio audience, “Now wouldn’t you like to look like that?” My answer: YES.

Word is that Britney is packing her bags and leaving Promises Treatment Center. Her manager Larry Rudolph said that:
"Britney Spears has been released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center after successfully completing their program. We ask that the media respects her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time."
Oh, good. Maybe now she’s better! There’s also a little rumor circulating about Britney’s custody agreement with Kevin. It might start out as a 50/50 agreement thing and then build up to Britney’s full custody of the children. Apparently, there was no struggle about the arrangements and everything was quite smooth. Is it wrong that I’m just a teensy bit disappointed?
